Darren, I think you should go back to school yourself; 1 kilogram = 2.2 pounds. Therefore, mass in kilograms * 2.2 = mass in pounds.
If you don’t believe me, then perhaps you should key in ‘1 kilogram in pounds’ into Google, or [x] kilograms in pounds, and you’ll find that kilograms are a larger mass unit.
And the corollary of revisiting an education would be an improvement in grammar. What should have been typed is “you need to go back to school because you’re not very smart”.
It seems that most of the opponents of the metric system fail to comprehend the units involved, rather resorting to syllogical fallacies and ridiculous ad hominem attacks to prove to themselves that the American measurement system is superior.
A great majority of these posts go a loooooooooong way towards asserting the stereotype that Americans are idiots.

Well, considering it says ‘Death By Caffine” at the top of the page, one could assume that the caffine is what’s toxic. Thusly, the caffine, and not water or sodium or whatever else, is what will kill you.
I totally think you should have the different kinds of Jolt. Like Jolt Blue (which would cause me to die cuz I drink it all the time).
It would take ‘198 cans on Dr Pepper’ to kill me.
Or, 239 of regluar classic Coca Cola.
I wonder which of those on the list you’d need to drink the least of to kill yourself.

Oh btw, inches stink because once you have to do small measurements you have to use TONS of fractions. It’s easier to say X millimetres than 1/64 of an inch (easier to measure too).
And Canadians basically use whatever the hell they want. i am Canadian. Some people use lbs or kgs for weight. We all use litres for gas. When it comes to height most of us just use x ft. x inches. because we’re used to it. We are supposed to use metric but we haven’t gotten used to it yet.

Most countries never need to defend them selves from every nut etc. because they dont make it their mission to piss off the rest of the world. The terrorist bombs are all in response to you people going into iraq and dragging the rest of the *most of the world with it. And we don’t need you to fight off people either. The Americans never fought in World War 1 and look who won. The British are in Iraq just to support the Americans to strengthen the relationship + get some oil.

You guys weren’t in irag or Iraq durig 9/11. The extremists had some crazy motive for that which I cannot recall. That was Bin Laden’s mentor’s extremism. The war should have ended in Afghanistan. Nobody protests the war in Afghanistan except for the Taliban because they were being taken away from power. If America hadn’t dragged anybody else into the war, those nations wouldn’t have been bombed. “When we get bombed”. We’re most likely to get bombed by you when you invade Alberta for oil. Or maybe when you bomb us against orders thinking that we are terrorists. Maybe that’s one of the many reasons why Canada didn’t support America in Iraq. Perhaps I should go eat some freedom fries because somebody is against my ideas.

only once Pearl Harbour had been attacked did the USA dedicate themselves to a full fledged war effort.
up to that point the USA did supply the efforts being made by Britian, Canada and France.
as for the Middle East, I’m Canadian and i fully support the actions taken by the US forces. I firmly believe that if the American Leadership was not so conserned with plakating the bleeding heart nations, Afganistan would have been bombed flat moments after the towers fell in NYC.
