Caffeine Boosts Short-Term Memory

According to some Aussies Austrians presenting in Chicago, caffeine may boost your short-term memory. As a programmer and caffeine addict, this comes as no surprise. If you’re attempting to drink enough coffee or energy drinks to hit your number from the Death by Caffeine calculator, you might have godlike memory rememberability (heck yes that’s a word) while you’re still alive.

Don’t see an e-mail address on here to submit you links and such, so figured here was as good a place as any. You should check out this new drink Visoda they just started stocking at my school. 400mg of caffeine and almost all your daily vitamins according to the back. Tastes like gummy bears to boot. But, yeah, check it out.

Wow, this is a poor excuse for a caffeine database… I’ve got about 184 different caffeinated drink cans/bottles/pouches/etc all stacked up in my cubicle… if you want pics, I’ll bring in my digicam tomorrow

L_O_V_E this site! Thanks!

What about “chewing” coffee beans…?

A friend chews ‘em versus making brew while back packing to save the weight of water & coffee brewer.

Too bad the sleep deprevation caused by too much caffeine decreases long term memory or it’d be perfect.

I’ve been smoking 1.5 packs of
unfiltered cigarettes & drinking
about 1 gallon of coffee /day for over 50 years.
If either or both are going to kill me- It’s a damn slow way to go. I worried about it for the 1st
45 years; now I think the Do-gooders should mind their own business & get a new hobby !
Dying may be the only way to get
rid of them.
