BluCreek Zen IPA: Energy Drink Beer?
The crazy folks at BluCreek aren’t satisfied with ordinary beers. First they made Blueberry Ale (what the…?) and now they have announced BluCreek Zen IPA – the beer that is an energy drink (via).
The press release says it contains Gingko Biloba (certified organic of course!) and Guarana.
Guarana has about twice the caffeine that a coffee bean has.

Energy beer is a bit weird, I’ll give you that.
But, it has it’s ups.
I mixed a homebrewed Trappist Ale with Jones Energy Drink, and found some interesting results.
Mixed 2 (beer) to 1 (Jones), it was ok. Taste was a bit off. This was for the first 6 glasses. 4 beer, 2 Jones.
Afterwards, I mixed 3 to 1. Well, I must say, the feeling is fantastic. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Total euphoria. I’ve never felt better. I also drink about 20 oz of water every 3rd glass. Don’t do this if you aren’t crazy, but if you are… damn. That’s all I have to say. Damn.
lol yea its good stuff… im in Scotland, so i mixed Tennents & relentless (see website ^^) gotta give it just over half + half mix to get it right. but the results are good, i bin drinking it for the last 5 hrs and i can honestly say im drunk, but not that same drunk you get off beer like “I can’t move or you’ll puke” drunk, more the the happy “im pished as a fart” drunk lol. (relentless is in 500ml cans with 35mg of caffine per 100ml (double the amount of redbull and half the price) and tennents is 440ml cans = verry good night
