What is a White Tea Energy Drink?

inkos-white-tea-energy.jpgYou’ve heard of green tea, black tea, and black tea with milk. White tea is none of those things. White tea is made from buds from the tea tree (Camellia sinensis) — not the leaves. The bud is covered in fine silver/white hairs (thus white tea). As far as health goes, pundits claim that it’s even better for you than green tea.

Inko’s have released a White Tea energy drink. They claim it is a healthier energy drink as all the caffeine is “naturally” derived from the tea buds.

Sounds intresting, but…hairs? Is that a typo? I would hope so.

No typo. Buds on the tea plan have a very fine hair on them. That doesn’t mean you get hair in your drink…
