Caffeinated Oatmeal

caffeine-oatmeal.jpgThe folks at Sturm Foods have been busy.

Morning Spark Oatmeal actually contains caffeine.

There seems to be little information to be had about this “energy porridge”… but we could find this:

What is Morning Spark instant oatmeal?
Morning Spark instant oatmeal is an energy oatmeal that contains caffeine and Vitamin C to help put a “spark” in your morning and get you moving with whole grain goodness.

Is Sturm’s Instant Oatmeal a good source of whole grain?
Yes, our instant oatmeal is an excellent source of whole grains

What is the advantage of Weight Management instant oatmeal?
Weight Management oatmeal contains 6g of fiber and 7g of protein to help you feel full and only 3g of sugar per serving.

There are four flavors, Peach Cobbler, Cinnamon Roll, Apple Raisin, and Cran Apple.

No word on the caffeine levels.

D’oh… that was for the non-oatmeal version of their Spark product. Sorry for jumping the gun.

Good effort Steve. Getting caffeine info out of some manufacturers is like pulling teeth :-)

Hi;
I am trying to get a good picture off the internet of morning spark oatmeal. Would you be willing to email me the .jpg file for this website. My daughter is doing a speech for high school about caffiene and would love to have this visual for her project.
Thank you
Mrs. Donna McClanahan
