Diet Coke Plus

The Coca-Cola company are planning on introducing a “fortified” version of Diet Coke – simply called “Diet Coke Plus”

Coca-Cola plans to launch a new version of Diet Coke in 2007 that is fortified with vitamins and minerals, according to a report published Friday.

Diet Coke Plus, slated for a spring launch, will be the first nutrient-enhanced carbonated soda to be offered by a major brand, said Beverage Digest. (via CNN).

There is precious little information about the drink – but I can’t help wondering – is it really the first “nutrient-enhanced carbonated soda”? What about energy drinks? Most are fortified with B or C vitamins — and often with other minerals. And what about 7 Up plus?

I’m concerned about aspartame that is in the diet soda. The effects to ones health

I would be more concerned with saccharin.

Diet Coke has aspartame, not saccharin.

Fountain Diet Coke has BOTH aspartame and saccharin, Diet Coke in cans & bottles has aspartame only in the US, several other sweeteners outside the US where it is known as “CocaCola Light”…

I’ve tried it-I like it except for one obvious side effect….it makes me very sleepy. I work long hours online, I consume many diet caffeinated sodas. When I bought 3 12pks last Friday it seemed that almost immediately I had trouble staying awake. I thought it was me, thought it was getting older (31), thought I was sleep deprived…until I ran out. Then I bought some good ole coke zero and with in 10 minutes felt like my normal self. I have no idea why this would happen, but somebody should look into it. Needless to say I won’t be buying it again-shame because it tastes great and I love the idea of vitamins and minerals in something I regularly drink quite a bit of, but I am now 3 days behind my projects so no more for me ;c)

I love drinking either Pepsi or Cocola it produces
fat cuz i’m a little skinny but i realized it has too
much sugar and caffeine in it. but it’s like i drink it

only once a day very often during lunch i have water
which is good on a healthy level like i rather get a
soda at Burger king instead of a milk shake cuz it’s

much healthier i think,
