Buzz Donuts and Caffeinated Bagels
Dr Robert Bohannon has filed a patent that will allow foods such as donuts and bagels to be caffeinated. Bohannon anticipates donuts with between 50-100mg of caffeine in them (source)
Caffeine is a bitter flavor and Bohannnon believes his process will mask the flavor.
He has called his new product Buzzed Bagels and Buzz Donuts. He has a site – but there isn’t much to see.
I think I’ll stick to espresso thanks.

DOH! Actually, this is quite a cool idea if you think about it…no “downer” 30 mins after eating the tasty pastry…Homer Simpson is right! Donuts ARE the cure all be all, hahaha
