Mother Energy Drink
Coca-cola is pouring $10 million (Australian dollars) into marketing a new energy drink called “Mother”. The drink will be released in Australia – where Red Bull and V hold a massive 94% of energy drink sales at convenience stores.
Coca-cola has had no luck in cracking the energy drink market down under (Lift Plus and Burn). They will be marketing Mother to young men as an all-natural drink with attitude; the branding on the cans is gothic and reminiscent of a tattoo. (via Sydney Morning Herald).
Interesting name – Mother. Imagine all the one liners they could come up with.

WOW i live in New Zealand and the exchange rate from nz dollar to american dollar is 1 nzd to around 70 american and at the dary down the road mother costs 50 cents FREAKEN AWSOME LOL the can says new zealand food standards recomend 1 can a day i drink at least 5 a day ( got 1 in my hand now) its cheaper then water 4 god sake + it tastes better the demon v and red bull combined + HUGE BUZZZZZZZZZ
ferrari the exchange rate as of 14/04/2009 is 1NZD = about .58USD and I bought a mother the other day and it was 3.50 at the dairy NZD not 50 cents american….. Not a bad drink tho.

Like all it workes & i do notice the difrence when cycling but have you ever tryed drinking one on a bike ?? appart from being over fizy its hard to consume unless its flat & not foaming up & find it just makes me burp & feal gassed up, besides tastes like crap, so im sticking to “V” or Red Bull

OmG!!! Its freakin awesome. i love this drink..i prefer better then red bull, or monster, or any other energy drinks i use to drink. I LOVE IT!!!! Great taste!

Lemme just say that this stuff is THE best stuff I’ve ever had as far as energy drinks go. I’ve had Nutrient Water, V, Red Bull, and all those chicky “Smart Waters” and Vitamin waters for energy but Mother really did top the lot.
I do think that the taste on the original was DISGUSTING. but the “reformulated” version wasn’t half bad and the energy hit more than makes up for what ever it lacks in taste. besides they brought out a orange can version of it and it TASTES LIKE ORANGE TIC TACS! its awesome! so for those of you who claim it “tastes like ass” try the tic tacs and enjoy the hit hehe

Mother is a great drink and tasted fair good. The only bad thing is that you get hooked on it! I have one every day now! Can’t get enough of Red Bull and Mother. Both are Great!
