This rocks out loud. Thanks for making this.
Woh! this info’s really kewl but can the intake of caffine really kill U? has it ever been done?
Could you please provide the relevant serving size for your mints, choc, etc category?
– Thanks
On cans of Monster, it says there is a limit of 3 cans per day. I previously believed this to be a result of the caffeine level in it…but researching product reviews seems to tell me that it was simply a result of many customers sending in complaints that the drink caused them to produce an excess of flem. This seems to be correct, but I am not possitive. Is there any reason that drinking 4 cans (560 mg Caffeine) of monster would be harmful to you from the standpoint of the caffeine level?
matthew small is not cool.he is a fool
[...] There are such awsome comments about caffeine on the Enrgy Fiends’ post (actually, there were so many, and so many hits, he had to take them off and re-host them to spare the bandwidth!) By far my favourite for laugh-out-loudness so far is from Chef Sven:Energy Fiend » The Caffeine Database When I’m setting up the kitchen, I down three Espressos, that keeps me going ALL DAY! The rest of the day is strictly water in order to hydrate, usually two gallons a day. I don’t know how much caffeine is in Budweiser, but when I get off work I pound a bunch of those which really takes the edge off of the caffeine from the earlier day. It’s a cycle. Don’t ever drink coffee at night, or soda before going to bed. You won’t sleep well if at all. Drink beer, take a pill, and smoke a doobie. You’ll get plenty o’ sleep then. can u do one for “Wild NRG”
I know that I really can’t drink coffee because of the caffeine. I end up feeling jittery all day, heart racing, panic like feeling and even like I’m going to pass out. I had complained to a friend about ‘water-bloating’ during “PMS” and she recommended Diurex. I had no clue the active ingredient was ‘caffeine’ and I’ve been paying for it all day. Thanks for the comments on this site, I feel normal now knowing I’m not the only one who reacts to caffeine in an adverse way!
how much caffeine is there in one chocolate covered espresso bean?
Here’s one to look into, I just bought this from Walmart today: Rocket Shot.
What about ginger ale? I’m a new mom thats nursing and i drink alot of ginger ale.
Does Sobe really cause erectile dysfunction? I heard it causes some strange things to happen down there in man land.
i noticed you have a method of listing the amount of caffeine per ounce. any possible way to have price per mg of caffeine?
500 mg of caffeine in a Starbucks Grande coffee? Seems a little high, compared to the others…
what about the frappachinos from starbucks?
and vitamin water, the energy flavor?
thx

Surely there is a typo with Starbuck’s coffee…500mg per 16oz? I am POSITIVE that isn’t accurate…especially when you compare it to “brewed (or drip) coffee” elsewhere on the list.
Milligrammes per ounce – what sort of crazy unit is that – and for that matter, whose particular variant of ounces are you using?
Please, could you either keep your units entirely in nice, sensible, unambiguous metric, or recalcitrant-yank-friendly Imperial (or “English”). But please don’t mix the two.
This is a time when a sortable table would be really handy.

I’ve only seen Coca Cola Blak’s in 8 oz bottles. Are there 12 oz’s, or is your number actually how much is in an 8 oz (or is it just theoretical, and actually correct)?
