Any info on any of the “Rip It” energy fuel drinks? If I read the can correctly – it has 204 mg of Caffeine in a 16 oz can, and 20 mg of guarana seed extract (doesn’t guarana also provide caffeine? – so – would that 20 mg be in addition to the 204 mg shown or would the 20 mg of gurana extract be the source for the 204 mg of caffeine?)

Rip It has just been added. I suspect they are including caffeine in the Guarana in their total count. Guarana extracts contain about 8%-20% caffiene depending on the quality.

I was wondering how much caffeine is in Nescafe “Ice Java” – a caffeinated coffee syrup for making iced coffee drinks. I wouldn’t expect it to have much, but it seems to wake me up pretty well, so I am curious. Please add it to the list!!!

I really would regret not letting my mormon friend see this. :(

I am suprised they don’t have redline on this list… I am curious about it’s contents

unknown October 18th, 2006 11:47 am

what about energy pills such as stackers, is there anywhere to find out what the content is?

Caffeine Fiend October 18th, 2006 1:16 pm

Caffeine pills are fairly straight forward – almost all are 200mg and they all state on the packet.

Cindy Avallone October 20th, 2006 12:49 pm

What is the caffeine content in tonic water?

Katelyn October 24th, 2006 4:56 pm

My Friend OD on Rockstar a bout a week ago and i know that she drank no where near 40.95 cans … she had maybe 3 or 4 at the most is that Death By Caffeine thing even real?

Kimmmmmy October 28th, 2006 2:26 pm

fact: if 1,000 mg of caffiene is consumed it can cause a rapid heart rate and even seizures.

fact: 100-200mg of caffiene will cause arousal of the nervous system.

fact: 300mg of caffiene will cause arousal of the automatic nervous system.

Kimmmmmy October 28th, 2006 2:28 pm

Oh yeah, so according to your chart if 5-6 Rock Stars are consumed it can end up in seizures. Not Good. =(

Kimmmmmy October 28th, 2006 2:30 pm

*Continuing previous comment* if consumed within 3 1/2 hours more likely…

spazysteve October 29th, 2006 6:55 am

Are you going to add Rockstar cola and nexcite?

Amber Paz October 29th, 2006 6:57 pm

On the death by caffeine is the total of the beverage you can drink a total all your life or just in one day?

Caffeine Fiend October 29th, 2006 7:17 pm

It’s based on the LD50 (lethal dose of caffeine). It’s how much is in your system at once. Caffeine can take anywhere from 3 hours (to as much as 12 hours) to leave your body – so the lethal dose is in this time. (read more).

How much caffeine is in excedrin tablets? Everyone I know that uses them including myself can’t seem to stop taking them, and they are the only thing that works on our headaches.
