What is the point of loading yourself up with sugar or the high acid levels in coffee and drinks if all you want is caffeine? If you take pills (ie no-doz, vivrin) then you know EXACTLY how much caffeine you are getting and it is much healthier. I admit that at first I felt like too much of an “addict” when I started doing this – but at least now I am liberated from the “need” for a caffeine beverage all the time. Plus it’s a lot easier and cheaper. I still enjoy drinking coffee, but it’s not always convenient, and a lot of times it can give me an upset stomach.
[...] From the how-come-we-never-saw-this-before department comes a great website entitled Energy Fiend. These guys are obsessed with caffeine in various foods and drinks…they even have a searchable database of the amount of caffeine and sugar for various sodas and energy drinks. With the comparative line-up of all the sodas I guess it’s no surprise to see something called “Cocaine Energy Drink” coming out on top with 280 milligrams of caffeine in their 8.4 ounce can. Maybe we can just use solely this stuff for the next 3-day adventure race? [...]
I think that the NOS, ounces should be increased from 8 to 16, because this is pretty much the only size that I ever see (and I don’t see it too often) and then increase the caffeine to 400 mg.
Also, just a question, isn’t the 22oz NOS probably a lot too much for one sitting? or maybe even one day unless your doing large amounts of exercise or something?
Dear Sir,
We would like to add our tea to your caffeine list.
Thank you
try to fnd list of soda that has no caffine in it
I want to know how much caffiene is in one of those little 5hr energy bottles. Its like a shot, and i get more energy off one of those with out the shakyness of the enerydrinks.IMO….if anyone could help that would be great.
We’ve been contacting 5 hour energy and they are not disclosing caffeine amounts…. We’ll keep looking into it.
So I went to the ‘Wired’ energy drink site to see about buying a case of X294 which is a fav of mine.. on the front page they only show X344 in 8 or 16 oz cans or X505 in a 24 oz can… so I was gonna buy one of those… on the order page they only have the X294… anyone know what the deal is?
Dunno Mike, i went there a few days ago and had the same thing, i wasn’t actually gonna buy any, i was just looking… might be they were out of stock, but i’d email them if u really want to know.

to Energy Fiend: Can you clarify caffeine content of NOS? Is it 25mg/oz or 12.5mg/oz ? Thanks
how much caffiene does the “Lost” energy drink have in it because thats another one i drink alot and i would like to know
lgr: We’ve finally got the NOS caffeine accurate: It is around 15mg/oz (see the chart). They have 125mg caffeine per 8oz serving. See more at NOS.
Hello, can you add Barq’s Red Creme Soda to your website and also include the caffeine content?
Thanks,
Brandy
