Is there any caffeine in any wines

Brandon May 18th, 2008 11:42 am

Spike has a new energy drink called the “shogun” that has 350mg for 16oz, and is much more drinkable than the shooters, and still 0 calories!

Walgreens sells an apothecary cola syrup to treat nausea. Does anyone have any idea how much caffeine is in it? I can’t find the information anywhere.

I tried a new one called Venom. They have Black Mamba and the low-carb Mohave Rattler. It’s made by Dr. Pepper/7-Up. Tastes pretty good. What’s the caffeine content?

I still don’t see anything about Max Velocity, Uncaged, sugar free and regular on here. I noticed this post from September last year:

Max Velocity and Max Velocity Uncaged

I bought three different kinds of Max Velocity for sale in a Shaw’s in CT. What’s the caffeine content?

Greg May 27th, 2008 7:04 am

ps. This sugar free Max Velocity tastes just like that generic “24:7″ stuff I bought at a Walgreen’s once.

Got anything about Shock Coffee Triple Latte and Triple Mocha 8 oz cans? I did not see it in the list or “could not find” list. http://www.shockcoffee.com

I’m wondering if the results for mg-per-8oz of coffee could be expanded in the following ways:

(1) Provide an indication of how many scoops (by volume, since dried roasted coffee beans likely weigh roughly the same – unless they’re peaberry)-per-oz this measurement refers to; and

(2) indicate whether the roast used is roughly medium, or roughly dark; and maybe

(3) indicate how finely you grind the coffee.

I’m willing to bet that a finely ground dark roast, at 2 “scoops” (however much a scoop is in cup terms), put through a drip coffee system has WAY more caffeine than a medium roast, coarsely ground, drip coffee system with 2 “scoops” of coffee.

The real problem with these statistics is: (1) most people’s measurement of how strong an energy drink will be, if based on anything other than advertising, will be based on their understanding of how much caffeine their morning mug of coffee has in it, but (2) some people like weak coffee and some people like strong coffee.

Both quantity of beans and darkness of roast determine the darkness and taste of the resulting cup; similarly, both of these things (as well as a million other factors…like altitude and water temperature and filtration method) influence potency.

Perhaps a better measure is No-Doz or Vivarin (with a note that generics can vary by 20% in bio-availability).

Please add Lipton Green Tea, Diet Lipton Green Tea, Lipton White Tea, and Diet Lipton White Tea.

Also, can you add a feature for printing your list that would make all the columns and rows fit neatly into just a few pages?

Thanks!

I have heard that morning thunder tea by celestial seasonings contains a lot of caffeine, but I can’t find anything definitive. HELP!

What is the caff. content in Xing Green Tea? (there are a lot of different flavors, but the plain green tea is fine)

Iceman June 4th, 2008 10:23 am

Hey, I noticed you don’t list Nalu. It’s a beverage made by The Coca-Cola Company, and it’s about as caffeine-concentrated as red bull.

I could only find information about it in French, though.

Cheers and keep up the good work !

How about the new Mountain Dews… Revolution, Voltage & SuperNova?

What is the caffein content of Luzianne coffee with chicory

Jessica June 10th, 2008 5:03 am

I was wondering how much caffeine is in the Hills Bros. French Vanilla Cappuccino. The reason I ask is because the store I shop at doesn’t sell the Decaffeineated version.

motomom June 10th, 2008 8:17 am

Sierra Mist! How could you leave off Sierra Mist? Do you have the stats for this one?

ted June 10th, 2008 2:48 pm

Sierra Mist, all varieties are caffeine free.

ted June 10th, 2008 2:50 pm

Sorry, Hills bro. don’t list any product information on their website. It’s probably similar to what’s in instant coffee.

tommy June 12th, 2008 1:38 pm

Lipovitan – B3. I found this american made drink in a japanese grocery store. It’s probably got a bunch of caffeine, but they don’t give the exact caffeine contents anywhere. The website is: http://www.b3energy.com
