This website is amazing, but I was surprised that Squirt Citrus Power wasn’t on here anywhere (that I can find). From what I’ve seen, it has a really insane amount of caffeine for a non-energy drink soda. Or so it says.

Hi there,
NRG Shot says it has no more than a cup of coffee’s worth of caffeine when you go to their website..any idea what it REALLY is?

Any results for NuGrape or Nesbitt’s?

Ryan October 13th, 2008 11:51 am

What about Mountain Dew SuperNova?

ted October 13th, 2008 1:40 pm

The flavors that Mt. dew comes out with have the same caffeine content as the original, They’re not in the database because they are always changing.

thanx for the site.i appreciate it…As thorough as it is,though,i was looking for stats on a few other things-namely,caffeine content in chocolate according to cocoa content(50%,65%,78%,or”bittersweet”,”semisweet”,etc.)Also, caffeine in specific teas(sencha, bancha,Irish breakfast, english breakfast, darjeeling, white tea-etc.etc.)& of yerba mate…and how much difference between the way i take my Irish breakfast(”strong”,or 2 tea bags-left in to the bitter end)& how normal people do it?

yerba girl October 22nd, 2008 2:28 pm

Can you find out about the caffeine content of Yerba Maté tea? One brand is Traditional Medicinals teas but it is becoming increasing popular and available from several companies (Guayakí is is most health food stores). It originated in Argentina and boasts a “naturally occurring caffeine” content along with Theobromine and Theophylline. Can you please help?

I just called Canada Dry regarding their new Green Tea Ginger Ale. It has 9mg of caffeine per 12 ounces. The caffeine occurs naturally in the green tea.

Celestial Seasonings Fast Lane tea should be on your list. It has a caffeine meter on the side of the box and it appears to have more caffeine than a double espresso.

ted November 4th, 2008 3:54 pm

I just added Fast Lane Tea and Green Tea Ginger Ale.
Cheers for the suggestions April and Laurie! April, thanks for making that call!

Cara November 12th, 2008 9:24 am

Any chance you could include hot chocolate, or it is too negligible to bother with? It is that time of year you know.

Hey, Im 13 and i drink Java Monsters. My mom is all worried, she thinks my heartrate will increase too much and kill me. Im about 90 pounds and 5′4″ Should i worry? I dought it but ive read up and their were some “educated guesses” so to speak, of deaths prevoked by Energy drinks.

Chris November 12th, 2008 6:53 pm

I just found a drink that is not in the caffeine database. It’s called Squirt Citrus Power the caffeine content is listed on the bottle as 73mg/8oz. and 182mg./20 oz. as with all soft drinks it comes in a 20 oz. bottle

Andrew November 17th, 2008 2:52 pm

What about Red Bull Cola?

Steve November 17th, 2008 8:20 pm

I noticed that you don’t have headshot on here (the drink). I noticed that you have a candy bar with the same name, but the drink wasn’t there, and I was really wondering how much caffeine it has. I enjoy your site and hope that you can add this!
