VPX Redline Putting People In Hospital

redlinertd.jpgRedline – the stuff of legends.

A guy drinks two 8-ounce cans of Redline RTD (along with a burrito). Minutes later he collapses, shaking violently (via SacBee).

Energy drink enthusiasts know that Redline is a drink that you don’t mess with. The label on the can suggests only drinking a half can at a time.

At first I thought the burrito-eating guy was foolish – surely he would have had to go to a GNC or similar drugstore where the sales staff would have warned him. But no – he got Redline from a 7-11 ! This stuff is an uber-stimulant. It’s a bodybuilders fat loss tool that is combined with training and nutrition (and I’m not talking about a burrito here).

Caffeine in Redline: Do We Have a Winner?

A few months back we predicted that Redline had about 250mg of caffeine in the can. That was an educated guess. As we read further into the Redline story from Sacramento Bee – we discovered that a toxicologist had managed to get VPX (the folks that make Redline) to spill the beans on Redline caffeine. The magic number? 250mg! Not bad guesswork from the EnergyFiendsters.

Another peculiar thing is that this news article actually quotes EnergyFiend — so watch what you say – you might be quoted in a paper somewhere.

Friday i took some redline at work (i work at a 7-11 store) about 5 am was getting extremly tired so i took some redline knowing the potency of it i took just a little bit and poured it into a cup and then mixed it with sprite since sprite is a non caffien soda. Any ways i had the bottle and cup next to each other and was rushing around. at my store at that time in the morning its work work work. Anyways i grabbed the bottle by mistake and down must of it quickly because the cup i was using was also a small cup you know the small gulp cup. I went home and i felt sick chest pains, headache, tremors, shortness of breath. the symptoms died down a bit but today is sunday and i still feel sick and chest pains and when i laydown i get shortness of breath still. If this keeps up by tomorrow i may have to goto the ER. Any advice would be helpfull

Eat something. Drink water and take it easy. You just have to wait it out.

Its perfect take 2 pills just before do some cardio.

I have been taking Red Line Serum for about a 1 year not. It has helped me out alot in my work outs intead of a regular 1 1/2- 2 hrs its more like 2-4 hrs in the Gym but Absolutely no cardio until i burn off most of it. I once made the mistake to try and run while on it and never did it again i ran for 30 secs and i got off quickly. Honestly its the closest thing to roids. Now even I play around and I never Exeed the maximum for the day since i take only 5Ml no more or one full drink a day. What does everyone think?

So…looks like if you follow the directions, it won’t kill you. (the power of reading) Has anybody actually seen results from use of this product. I’m talking fat loss not the ultimate caffeine rush. I do a lot of cycling but have recently started to focus on my abs. I’m trying to burn through the fat so they will actually show. (i do believe i have abs.) Any insight would be appreciated.

Thanks.

i had a bottle of redline and i felt like i was going to die. i got all shaky and nauseus, and although i kept salivating, i couldnt throw up. it was horrible. i couldnt eat or sleep or anything and i was sweating quite a bit. i didnt go to the hospital or anything but i really feel i should have gone. Its been 2 days and I still feel like crap.

i love redline. i took it after eating breakfast and since i’m not very big, i drank less then one half and i had tons of enegry, wasn’t feeling sick, sweated a little bit and slightly cold, nothing major. People who are taking this should look at their body(weight and height) and learn about the product their taking.

emily July 16th, 2007 3:28 am

im 14 and today at around 4 pm i drank 3 bottles of red line. not all the same time of course i didn’t know it was that horrible for you at the time. i started with half and decided i wanted one of my won and soon went back for another. the guy at the liquor store didn’t card us either..i thought at the time he was a baller and now i hate him XD earlier i was using 75 percent of my energy to breathe. like if i didn’t concentrate i would just stop breathing. i never wanna do that again, i might never drink another energy drink as long as i live.

I honestly love this stuff. what i usually do, is use the cap as a little “shot glass” and i’ll take a few “shots” throughout the morning. i probably drink about a third of a bottle in a serving, and always make sure I have something in my stomach before.

I know from experience that this stuff burns a good amount of calories while you’re doing nothing. For weightloss, i think it’s perfect cause it def. speeds up the process.

For working out this stuff works great as well. Although I would definately recommend drinking this on a full stomach. although you always should just to be safe.

People: Read the precautions, instructions, and warnings.

Be smart about it!!

well, i do not know much about caffinated drinks, i mean ive never tried spike shooter, and i usually drink amp, monster and mostly lots of coffee, probably more than i should
but i drank a redline the other day, i read mall the labels on it like 5 times over
and noted you have to eat something haha, i only had a medium bag of funions at the moment so i ate em and drank the half the bottle, waited like 30 minuets and drank the rest, i cant say it did much at all
now maybe i am not sensitive to caffiene?

My daughter called me the other day after drinking 1 and 1/2 bottles of redline. She was shaking violently and was having projectile vomiting. She felt horrible. A friend had given it to her and not told her it was not legal for her to drink it as she is only 15, and after my daughter had drank it her friend told her she might pass out afterwards. Of course, my daughter wieghs about 90 pounds and is barely five feet tall. I was furious at her and her friend. Luckily a young man who knew what could happen had my daughter hurry and eat and start chugging water to get it through her system. My daughter swore she would not do that again. I think we need more education about stuff like this.

My brother Luke drank a bit of redline, when suddenly his left eye just freakin exploded. He started to scream and run around the kitchen as blood squirted from the squirming mess dangling out of his socket. He began to laugh hysterically as his blood covered fingers groped for a pen on the counter. Before I could stop him, he slammed the pen, cap on, into his good eye, spraying me with a fresh layer of gore, and collapsed to his knees screaming “Hail Nyarlathotep”. So yeah, I strongly recommend this awesome beverage. Give it to your children and pets! Replace grandpa’s vitamins with some redline pills!

I drink 2 Extreme Redlines a day, I’ve been drinking redlines for 3 years or so. 3 months on 3 months off. I’ve stacked them with 50mg of Ephedra and Animal cuts. I’ve never had a problem with redline. It’s your tolerence of what you can handle. Just have to drink plenty of water and keep hydrated.

I recently purchaced a redline energy drink from a local 7-11 store. Me amd my buddies were going to pull an allnighter. They had Monster energy drinks. I did not notice the warning label and just downed the entire thing. minutes later i felt wired. Then i started shaking uncontrolably and sweating a lot. I felt sick to my stomach and had a massive headache. I started blacking out and felt extremely dizzy. Its pretty ridiculos how small the warning lable is, i thought it was the ingreients. SO not knowing i was “under the age” of drinking this stuff and only supposed to drink half of the bottle i really wish i had never wasted my money on it. I really feel this product should be pulled off the market. i will never try this again even at a moderate portion or would i recomend this to anyone.

Brian Bohnet November 22nd, 2007 3:58 pm

Anyone who hates on this stuff is an idiot. Theres a paragraph warning label on it for a reason. Drink it in moderation, this is NOT a redbull. Even if you do down it, you should understand this is NOT intended to be a energy drink. While it’s effects are as such, this is a workout drink, intended to burn fat, speed up metabolism, and increase the effects of working out. The sweating, hot and cold streaks are effects of what it is SUPPOSED to do. You’re body is supposed to go through high and cold swings, and is supposed to shiver/shake. It’s in the recipe.

Suggesting that such an amazing product be pulled off the shelves simply because you refuse to read the warning label is absurd.

Heh, Debbies story reminds me of the time I accidentily (wasn’t into drugs at that time nor using caffeine) took a ventolin overdose (I think it was 100 times the prescripted dose could’ve bin 10 or 1000 times) I took it with the vaporizing machine i had (it was called a paddy boy) so everything was absorbed pretty good , I was about 16 at that time.
It didn’t kick in right away but about half an hour later laying in bed I started to really feel my hart pumping and beating, 15 min later I woke the poeple I was staying over with and they took me to a docter, on the way over my hart was still increasing pace and i started to become nauseaus after stepping out of the car and walking to the docters office I had to stop and I saw colours swirling in my vision, entering the doctors office I almost inmediatly puked into a bin and they called an ambulance right away.
During the ambulance ride my hart rate mas measured and i was put on oxygen, it measured into the 220+ they told me that this was a lethal rate for my age and size. This experiance thought me to ALWAYS read prescriptions YOURSELF and not count on other poeple to have them phone it in and write it down (that’s where it went wrong)

Anyway anyone know where to get this redline stuff in Holland/Europe (ordering from thet states will be very costly) couse i’m kinda an caffeine addict ;) (used to drink at least 30 cups of coffee a day and in my final exam period about 8 cans of red bull a day)
