Nuclear Waste Antidote
With the number of energy drinks hitting the market it must be pretty hard thinking up new names. We’ve already got drinks named after rare animals and aging wrestlers, and even names that rhyme.
These folks have named their new drink Nuclear Waste Antidote. Just what you need after working a long day at the nuclear power plant.
Yet again the ingredients are listed as part of an “energy blend” – an incredibly annoying method that manufacturers use to hide the actual amounts.
So – we can’t tell you how much caffeine this has – but it does have lots of other interesting things such as N-acetyl-l-tyrosine, DL-Phenylanine, L-Theanine, and so on. Sounds more like chemical warfare than nuclear waste.
From the manufacturer:
Our Nuclear Waste Antidote⢠campaign is our attempt to bring the nuclear issues back into public consciousness by making it a commercial product.

I’m pretty sure in Australia, it’s a requirement for all soft drinks to show caffeine amounts even in herbs such as guarana… it’s blankly obvious that most energy drinks will have caffeine around the 80-100mg mark, but in some foods (especially herbs), caffeine is not clearly noted, or substituted as another ingredient or amounts not shown, this can be very dangerous to caffeine intolerant people such as pregnant women.
seriously thats a lame excuse for a name..bring bag issues about nuclear w.e. if they did care about the world they would of said “Peace Energy” or something fancy.
no offence guys..but you are causing more damage than help to the world.
Mark Michael Lewis here, the guy who created Nuclear Waste Antidote.
The drink has 180 mg of caffeine per 16 oz can, 90 per serving. As for the amounts of the other ingredients, that is proprietary.
It is the particular proportions of those ingredients that make our drink feel so much better, and we don’t want others to be able to copy it easily.
People can purchase the drink from our site with free shipping within the Continential USA, or at the locations on our site in the San Francisco Bay Area.
As for the nuclear issue, we can appreciate the sensitivity and seriousness of this subject matter. We believe, however, that our nuclear Raise Your Awareness campaign will make a significantly positive contribution. That is why we have an education section on our site. Time will tell, but we are confident about this. AND, we get that other people might not think that. If you want to know more, click on the “Raise Your Awareness” button on the site to see what we are really about.
Thanks for all the feedback – It’s all good!
Mark
