Caffiene is one of the only four preventatives available, and when I have extreme nausea and vomiting, my "tablet" medications (preventatives indomethicin, caffiene) do not work at all because they are expelled. I would purchase these "stix" and give them a try, anything to avoid the Emergency Room visit.
