I think everyone is forgettihg that coca-cola is named after the same illegal drug and it doesn't cause any problems. Wow just cause i had a coke when i was ten doesn't meen ill move up to the real thing. I mean the FDA is really stupid, everyone drinks coke, i mean are you kidding me, and that drink used to actually have cociane in it, and was marketed as a "cure all" when it first came out. If it bothers you don't buy the stuff, and why punish one cause its old and not new.

I have tried this before....it has a distinct cherry taste and burns...yes it burns going down. I don't know if this was another attempt to simulate the real thing but I find it quite unpleasant. I have tried numerous energy drinks and I can't really say this did much for me (and no, I am not a caffeine addict who is use to mass amounts.) The most I felt was lightheaded.

This product will stay in the market. I guarantee Cocaine will do something to work there way around it. The company may have to change stuff about it, but it WILL and I repeat WILL stay on the market and be the most popular energy drink. Anything with that much caffene with the crave of the energy drinks on the market will definitly sell. If they change the name, they will still be known as Cocaine or the brand that used to be Cocaine. This company will survive and I hope you all realize that the reason for this whole incedent is because of the fact that all of these "idiots" are upset because of the fact that the word "Cocaine" is the name and wrote on the side. This should be a good few years for this generation!

It's not *just* the drug reference. Yes, that is part of the problem. No, changing the slogan but keeping the drug name as the brand name won't out"smart" the FDA. The biggest thing is that energy drinks are dietary supplements. It's not that people will think real coke comes in a can, it's that people will think [maybe because it's the way it was marketed] that you can "supplement" cocaine [an intense stimulant] use with this product [an intense stimulant]. Like it was stated before. This is not any suprise to the company. If it was to you, seek help. If you think something called COCAINE is only getting a bad wrap because it says "liquid speed" on the can, please disconnect your keyboard.

I have tried this drink and actually think it's pretty good. THE NAME IS JUST PLAIN STUPID! It's the association with the real thing that is causing the problem. Kids are curious! Trying one will eventually lead to the other!!! Change the name!! So, let me offer some new names for Redux... how about.. "KICK" "VOLTAGE" OR "AFTERSHOCK"?

Why not just keep the name and lost the illegal drug angle?

I mean cocaine is just a word that is affliated with an illegal substance and I'm pretty sure that everyone knows it doesn't come in a can.

I mean they do teach what drugs are in school now a days, so kids aren't that stupid.
