Halo 3 Mountain Dew: Game Fuel
A new formulation of Mountain Dew will be hitting stores in August. The drink is timed to come out with the next version of Halo for Xbox 360 (expected to sell around 3 million units). There’s going to be some serious caffeine consumption happening
Mountain Dew Game Fuel from PepsiCo allegedly has a “citrus-cherry” flavor and has 120mg caffeine per 20 ounce bottle. Ounce for ounce that’s more caffeine than straight Mountain Dew. For reference sake, if you were to consume 20oz of regular Mountain Dew - you’d take in almost 92mg of caffeine.

MD’s got to stop with their one-upping themselves. In Canada there’s MD Energy and it’s quite shitty. I’ll stick to my Jolt Cola, Red Bull and Starbucks.

My god, seriously do you know how many units halo 2 shipped? like take a guess, 14 million, so do you really think that halo 3 is going sell 3 million? how about gears of war? it just sold 4 million, so there’s no question in my mind how much halo 3 going to sell, more than 14 million.

I got Halo 2 when it came out. I won’t have Halo 3 simply because my original XBOX died and I aint paying 300$ for something that’s going to die in 1.5 years.

Bawls recently lowered there caffiene level. Drink Jolt instead.

I just recently re-found Bawls at the local 7-11. It doesn’t seem to have the same cream soda like fizz to it. And the taste was a bit flat. I’ll stick to Jolt. Go with what you know works.

What about Rockstar. Bawls and Jolt are like the dinosaurs of energy drinks. They belong in a museum of what used to be the baddest of the genre.
And thank God noone has said anything about Redbull. Talk about OVERATED!!! Move on and drink something with more caffeine than my moms morning coffee.

well, I don’t play Halo but I have a lot of friends who do, and I drink a lot of Mountain Dew, so I won’t be surprised if I find myself drinking this… if I can somehow feel like buying it instead of a Full Throttle when I come across it *shrug*

I went to Otakon in Baltimore this year, and they were handing out sample cans of MD Game Fuel. It is delicious, and no, it’s not just code red with a different name, it tastes much more like an energy drink than MD. I’d say the flavor reminds me of MD with red and yellow skittles dissolved in it (have you ever tried that? it’s awesome!)
so all these energy drinks you are talking about dont really work for me…jolt, I had 2 of those thing within 10 minutes of each other was asleep in 5 minutes, no joke I am a caffiene HEAVY-weight…used to drink 3 Dr.Peppers a day when i was like 8 got to used to caffiene i guess
this stuff has more caffine then a cup of coffee and tastes better too also has way more caffine then redbull and for a third of the price almost so im thinking about three to four times the energy for the same price rock on.
for as much as it costs to buy two energy drinks i can get a 12 pack of this and that is just awesome.
must start stocking up for h3 lan now.

GEEZ! I Just picked this up at a Mom & Pop’s Gas station where I live (I live in the mountains) and IT IS SWEEEEEEEEEEETTTT, and HIGHLY packed with caffine. Oh man, its so crazy…And to those wondering, it does taste like Code red, but with more of a citrus taste. its like they took live wire and mixed it with code red and added more caffinneeeee.
I thought it tasted like a mix of Code Red and Baja Blast.
