Paintings Created With Coffee

The wonders of the coffee bean never cease.

These artists have been painting with coffee for a number of years. They use brewed coffee as the paint (those serious drinkers among us know well how coffee stains).

They first sketch out an idea, then start brewing a really strong pot of coffee that is really dark and thick! From there, water is added to gain the subtle tones of brown.

Beautiful stuff. Go check out the gallery.

Lol, I know this is going to sound weird, but those paintings must smell good.

You know you are addicted to coffee when: You start eating your coffee artwork.

You know you are dependent on coffee when: you taste a new flavor and immediately wonder, “What if I mix that with coffee?” Symptoms of dependence are severe when one begins to eat Captain Crunch with cold coffee instead of milk.

What’s sad about that comment is, although I was trying to come up with a ridiculous flavor that wouldn’t mix with coffee, I couldn’t do it because everything that came to mind sounded like it would be good with coffee.

Those are some beautifully creative masterpieces. And using coffee (ie. the last half-cup in the carafe) is a great idea. Great link.
