Java Monster: Coffee-flavored Monster Energy
We finally have some more details and pictures on the new Monster energy drinks - called Java Monster. There are three flavors: Big Black, Loca Mocha, and Mean Bean.
This, from an Energy Fiend reader:
The mean bean has a mild vanilla flavor, and the Mocha is slightly chocolaty! The two taste very similar, and resemble a coffee flavored milk more than anything else.
The can boasts “half the caffeine of regular coffee, twice the buzz”
In terms of formulation, Java Monster appears to contains the same “Energy Blend” as straight Monster.
Not quite sure about the “half the caffeine” bit. Monster contains about 70mg caffeine per 8oz - so presumably Java Monster is the same.
Anyone else tried it?

its great. all three actually. nice and easy stores have them, and some gas stations, so far as i’ve been able to find.
Anybody know where to find Big Black in the FL panhanlde, Destin/Panama City area? Got a few cans from a food show and am addicted, thinking about buying it by the case on the web if I must.
Hello, I love ALL of the MONSTER products! I have a really UGLY truck with a new motor in it, I wish that MONSTER would paint my truck like the NEW JAVA MOCHA MONSTER CAN. I would be happy to advertise the products for free in exchange for the artwork. yo monster is the best energy drink ever and i love it but i cant find all the cans such as the twist top can and i think thats a good idea and i want some. also the JAVA is really good and the can looks awesome!
I just want to know where you can buy it in my area. Have found one small service station and that is it.Although the Monster brand is in Walmart…not the Java. Help….

Seems to be a problem. I have tasted Java Monster through a friend who has a hookup. However, I have not been able to find it in any grocer/retailer in the Houston/Spring, TX area. Can you tell which retail/health stores distribute this drink in my area
ive only had the loca mocha, and its pretty damn good. im starting to collet all the monster, and pretty much any energy drink i have. any new flavors of monster that we should be expecting?
These are the greatest thing I have ever had! I drink about a pot of coffee a day, now I won’t have to! I manage a gas station in Wisconsin and they just came in today!!!! Here, they are distributed by BUDWEISER, not 7-UP. You can ask the manager if they can special order it for you from their rep. They cost about $36.00 a case of 24. not bad for 1.34 a can instead of almost 3. at the wort, they make you pay full retail price, but I doubt that. Plus, they could start to carry it!!!!
Just bought the Big Black and the Mean Bean at a Walmart here on Hwy 6 and 529. I haven’t tried the Big Black, but the Mean Bean is the best monster I’ve had.
Totally in LOVE! My boyfriend and I used to get up every single morning and drive down to our local coffee shop to get our caffeine fix. NOT ANYMORE! We have switched to drinking one of these everyday and not only are saving money - we went from $9.50 everyday NOT including tip to a simple $4! We are saving our time in the morning as its great having them all stocked up in the fridge - we can find them everwhere here in Montana. Im just wondering if they are good for you in the long run? Some days I drink two - ? is that bad? I love all three flavors - but Mean Bean is my favorite - i think? but I love Big black..oh and when I feel chocolately I love loca mocha - shit I cant pick! try em!

O.K. people, I’m the official MONSTER ENERGY drinker, so it feels like I am, I have over 700 saved Monster cans and Yes all the Javas, now this is august 6 so you probably already seen java all over the place but i’m gunna tell you where I see it most, Every Marathon gas station I walk into, and bp, and citgo>so go drink up cuz it’s good!!

This stuff is rawks and found in our local market or gas station but it needs to come in low-cal!! It’s the perfect go go juice if you’re tired of the played out energy drinks.
i can only find moster java at 7 eleven. and theirs not many of em in va. i cant even find them at sheetz or wawa, and they are leading convienent stores
Java Monster is really good! I own a gas station and people are buying six at a time. For two weeks we could not order any because our supplier ran out. It is back and flying off the shelves. It is the best energy drink that i have ever tasted. They are all good tasting and not too sugary. A great product to sell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wow,found a can today on the lunch truck of all places!!! awesome stuff.I like the regular monster stuff but I’m not a big fan of carbonated drinks.this stuff is great.I had the LOCA MOCA,now I’ve got to find somewhere to purchase it without paying double from a lunch service truck!!
Well I know that if you ever come to NYC, you can take the 6 train to Pelham Bay Park and their sold in a convenience store down the block from the train. But are they sold in 7-11 in NYC?
I tried mean bean and mocha loca on a long drive, and they were awesome! Monster is tripling Java Monster production and we should expect to see the 4-packs and cases in Costco and Sam’s Club around the end of the year.

Me and the girls I work with love all three flavors, in fact we go out of town to get because nobody around here sells it. In fact we also have some of our customers lookin for it too!!!

Java Montster is awesome! I get one every morning and i think that they are as good, if not better than Starbucks Frappucinno. All of them are good, but I like the mean bean and the loca mocha.
Love it! Just found a Loca Moca here at the local Wally World. I drink a low-carb Monster every morning. I think I found my new Monster morning drink. Very smooth.
I’m thinking that buying some Hansen stock is probably a good idea. They are taking over the energy drink market.
