Propel Invigorating Water: Now With Caffeine
PepsiCo have announced they are making a caffeinated version of their popular bottled water Propel.
It will be called Propel Invigorating Water, and will contain 20mg caffeine per 8 ounces. The drink will also contain B vitamins and will be available early 2008.
There are other caffeinated waters around (some with considerably more than 20mg of caffeine - such as Buzz water, Water Joe ).

Sunbolt? I thought they stopped making that years ago…
I picked some up at Target a few weeks back.

2 bottles on the right in this photo. I can find no info on it anywhere online though.
hmm I wonder if it tastes different to normal water? Might be fun to give my little cousins without their parents realising. Lol damn I’m evil
I got some just today at a convenience store. I wanted to find more info on it, but this came up instead.
I usually hate flavored waters, vitamin waters and such, but I tried the new propel water and love it. It has enough caffeine to push me, but not to much. I recommend.
IT SUCKS ITS TASTED LIKE CRAP
To be honest, I am disappointed. Caffeine dehydrates the body, causing a need to drink more water…if our water now has caffeine in it, how are we ever supposed to be able to even it out. My University has recently replaced our flavored water with this new propel invigorating drink. I am the type of person who doesn’t drink enough water, but I usually get my full 64 ounces by drinking flavored water….now I don’t know what I am going to do because my only alternative to plain water, is water that is just as unhealthy as all the other junk on the shelf, and it includes caffeine. For someone with a dehydration problem, that isn’t going to do me much good.
I really enjoy this stuff, the flavoring is perfect but Anne has a really good point. =/
Anne - Crystal Light works GREAT for me ! I started with their strawberry/banana/orange - it reminded me of Hawaiian Punch, but not as sweet. I also enjoy the flavored teas. My favorite now is the lemonade. The recommended mixture is 1 tub:2 qts but I find that too ‘rich’ so I cut it in 1/2; 1 tub:1 gallon. It might be a tad thin, but it tastes ‘healthier’ (if that makes sense) and really does quench my thirst unlike anything I find on the shelves.

There are a crapload of “energy” waters out there already. Sunbolt, Fruit 2o, and several others. I like them for a change sometimes.
