From someone actually training for a full marathon, I used these yesterday during my 20 mile training run. AWESOME. I popped one every mile which translates to every 10 minutes for me. They kept me going throughout the 3 hour and 40 minute run. I took energy gel everyhour as well as gatorade every hour and the combination of those 3 things made my run do-able. My recovery today is EXCELLENT and I believe it's because I fed my body during those 20 miles. I'm ready for my 26.2 mile marathon in 3 weeks. I plan to continue to use these jelly beans for the marathon but these next 3 weeks of tapered down training as well.

Sheesh... Name me one thing that doesn't cause death or sickness. Just one thing. Air can cause cancer if it isn't clean. Water can do the same thing. Too much rest can make you fat. Not enough rest can give you heart problems. Eating meat makes you sick, not eating meat makes you sick... EVERYTHING causes death or sickness eventually. All these people who avoid everything remotely dangerous in life are going to feel really stupid at the end of their lives while they lie in bed dying of absolutely nothing.

i saw these at a walmart nearly a year ago, (or a jelly belly product that was extremely similar) and i can say that the flavor selection sucked and the caffiene was a waste of money, might as well get a snickers charged its cheaper and better anyways

Dusty, yes. Jellybeans are especially popular for marathon runners. The sugar is great, very quick energy. They aren't too hard on the stomach either, which many foods can be while running 26.2 miles.
