Red Bull Cola

redbullcola.jpgComing to Las Vegas in June: Red Bull Cola.

Unlike Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Red Bull Cola will be 100% natural and command a premium price. Its formula will consist of kola nut and coca leaf. (source: Brandweek)

Sales of Carbonated Soft Drinks have been declining for some time now – in contrast with energy drinks – where the market has been growing. However Red Bull is now No. 2 in the US (Monster is No. 1) – so it’s no surprise they are trying something new.

PLEASE NOTE: Red Bull is actually Number 1 in Dollar Sales Volume (a Red Bull rep contacted us about this.).

This is going to be the best. Can’t wait! High Fructose corn syrup is very bad for you, your body turns it into sugar like the snap of your finger. Which means you get too much sugar to fast and your body then turns it into fat. Probably will be the best soda ever. can’t wait to try it

how much does it cost

We have a can of this in the cooler at my place of work. I have no idea how it got there, but If i can, i may just try it out and post a review.

i just tried it and it tasted ok, except i dont drink regular cola very much so i wish they had a diet. i found this looking for info on how much caffien is in it, i love energy drinks but dont like how all the new ones are about pushing the limits of being unhealth so i always try to figure out what im drinking when i try a new energy drink. it looks like caffien is the only thing in this though, no tourine or any of the other stuff.

It might not be cheap like monster or rockstar.. But those two taste like absolute shit… I will never drink a novelty drink such as monster or rockstar. RED BULL and RED BULL COLA will always be classics

timmay October 15th, 2008 12:30 am

It’s delicious! And only 1.69 in CO 5.99 for a 4 pk

MLK October 19th, 2008 12:09 am

Monster is the bomb..

Chris October 20th, 2008 5:18 pm

As Stated above comparing Monster, rockstar, full throttle and the other cheap costing and tasting energy drinks to a RedBull is like the difference in a Lambo and a chevy….lol Monster and etc. are preying on ignorant poor consumers in a market RedBull created. IF you want cheap harmful ingredients in your drinks fine go with the $1.99 16oz. monster/rockstars but if you want nothing but the best for your body for a natural pick me up that wont leave you in a diabetic coma then shell out a little extra for a RedBull. As for the Simply Cola that has been launched the last couple of weeks. Well, put it this way Coke/Pepsi and the others will be scrambling to the drawing board to capitalize once again on what RedBull is innovating…

YES.

‘NATURAL ENERGY SODAS.”

NOVELTY IS ON THE INCREASE.

THE END IS NEAR.

THINK ACCORDINGLY.

Red Bull Cola uses “Sugar” and not HFCS or Aspartame. That automatically gives it a one up over Pepsi and Coca Cola.

It also contains “Galangal” which according to erowid is supposed to give you a mild buzz.

Am drinking this right now. IMO, the best cola on the market. Has a high concentration of cola, and a stronger flavor. Much better than the regular Red Bull. Can’t see myself buying it often though, as the only store I know of near me that sells it is located in a mall, and thus overpriced.

Actually, i just had one, and i gotta say, ti was pretty good. U can taste the difference between it and teh other brands of cola. It doesn’t have the corn syrup and it tastes alot crisper. The price tag is alittle steep but i would highly recommend the product. I can’t say i feel any more wired than if i had a coke or two, but i’ve grown pretty resistant.

i honestly love this stuff. im trying to find where i can buy it by the case

blazeRR January 14th, 2009 12:19 am

I live in Vegas and got a sample from the promo girls with their backpacks….

This stuff is LEGIT!

But I could only find it @ Albertson’s… :-( too bad

Yeah it is probably one of the better Colas out there. My other fav is China Cola which is great and you can get at any health food store. What I like about Red Bull Cola is that the ingredients are all natural, it tastes good and doesn’t have too much caffeine. Coke and Pepsi taste like syrup and will get you fat because the ingredients are not all natural. Your body actually does process all natural ingredients better than processed.

this cola has more flavor in the burps than most colas do in the bottle. really great and superb ingredients. a marketing masterpiece.

dae February 28th, 2009 6:18 pm

I was apprehensive to try this, for fear that it would taste like a Red Bull Energy Piss flavored cola. It’s got a nice cola flavor to it and I find it much more refreshing than coke or pepsi, thanks to the complete lack of HFCS.

What really differentiates this from other colas is the psychoactive aspects surrounding it. I do get a different feeling from these than coke (nothing intense). Coca leaves (although de-cocanized, these still deliver a stimulating affect), kola nut, galangal, ginger and mace are all known for having psychoactive affects. They are obviously not present in large quantities, but definitely has a different affect.

I do wish they had gone with stevia, instead of sugar, though.

asher March 13th, 2009 8:49 pm

Where can you get this in America???

a-hole April 12th, 2009 11:53 am

Stephen is a retard! theres no such thing as a “de-cocainizide” leaf! It take a vigorous process to make cocaine with chemicals like gasoline, ammonia, chloride, and kerosene just to mention some! cocaine doesnt drip out from leaves…. the coca leaf will aid in rapid respiration causin your blood valves to open for a better oxygen flow! Nick is right!

Braxton April 23rd, 2009 7:52 am

Just drank one. I am not a big fan of normal red bull, but the cola was pretty good. It tastes like regular Coke when it has just gone a little bit flat, which is how I usually like it. All natural flavors are a plus. Not feeling much of a jolt from it though. And i thought it would have taurine in it like red bull does.

Overall it was aight.
