Red Bull Cola

redbullcola.jpgComing to Las Vegas in June: Red Bull Cola.

Unlike Coca-Cola and Pepsi, Red Bull Cola will be 100% natural and command a premium price. Its formula will consist of kola nut and coca leaf. (source: Brandweek)

Sales of Carbonated Soft Drinks have been declining for some time now – in contrast with energy drinks – where the market has been growing. However Red Bull is now No. 2 in the US (Monster is No. 1) – so it’s no surprise they are trying something new.

PLEASE NOTE: Red Bull is actually Number 1 in Dollar Sales Volume (a Red Bull rep contacted us about this.).

Who Me? May 22nd, 2009 1:48 am

This Red Bull Cola is quite possibly the WORST thing that I have ever tasted. It is selling just about as good as it tastes… horrible. I have asked at least 4 stores and a good friend of mine is a vendor for a company that sells Red Bull. This will be quite interesting to see if the Red Bull Gods keep or discontinue this product. Give me a Red Bull any day! You can keep the cola…

No, Coca leaf is not addictive and is somewhat anti-addictive since the cocaine numbs one’s stomach reducing appetite for more. Also, the cocaine in Coca is in low concentrations (way less so then contraband cocaine) so it does not provide the addictive spike with depressive rebound.

Germany is committing criminal mercantilsim and like any other country with such laws’ be prosecuted for market subversion, protection of things as cigarettes.
