I like this product and have tried the berry as well as the tangerine-strawberry. For many years I drank a 3 shot latte at Starbucks. That is 75 mg of caffeine per shot. Eventually the espresso took a toll on my stomach linking. This product is very drinkable and easy on the stomach. At 80 mg of caffeine it is a good pick me up and not too intense.

I have a 3-a-day energy drink habit that was quite costly. I purchased a box of 20 at Wal-Mart for $1.99 and it wasn’t on clearance. They aren’t as good as regular energy drinks, but they don’t taste anything close to terrible. If you drink diet drinks, it will be fine. I now go through 3 of these a day and save much money. For 2 bucks, it is worth a try.

I don’t know what you people are complaining about. If you are drinking energy drinks in the first place, you are drinking them for the energy, not the taste. This stuff goes for $1.97 at Wal-Mart for a box of ten. That’s 20 cents a pack. Just poor a stick in 6 oz of water, chug, and enjoy the effects. Staying out all night just got easier.

My 17 yr old didn’t realize one tube was two servings and he put 3 of them in a cup- He had 480 mg of caffeine. I am so scared. He is jittery and feels sick to his stomach and is being hyper- he is not a small guy thankfully-
We called our pharmacist and he said to watch for heart palpitations and shallow breathing! Please be careful if you drink this!! It’s been about 5 hours since he drank it–never again!!!!

This stuff tastes pretty bad, but for the caffeine/price ratio it’s good. I tried adding 2 tablespoons of sugar to the packet but it didn’t taste much better. The after taste is almost like cough syrup. I’m guessing you can mix in other things to conceal the somewhat nasty flavor, but overall it’s decent for the price.

I just tried it for the first time, the lime and thought it was REALLY good! Love the sugar free and taste was great! I have been looking for something to have at work and not soda, without having to bring in a pitcher to make sugar free Kool aid! Now I need to find it in the store as I tried it from someone who had a sample!

This stuff is the PERFECT hangover remedy!!!!!

Just bought 2 boxes of 10 sticks at Walmart for $1.97 a box. This stuff is excellent!! the box says each stick is 2 servings and each serving has 80 mg of caffeine so drinking a whole 16 oz water bottle of it gives you double the whammy which would be 160 mg of caffeine. I actually mixed 2 sticks in 1 16 oz bottle of water and it makes the tangerine/strawberry flavor wonderful!! Of course downing the whole bottle with 2 sticks in it is 320 mg of caffeine and a whole whopping 20 calories but if you want a real energy drink this is the way to go. It also has vitamin c, b6, niacin, b12, taurine, panax ginseng and guarana to spike the punch here so compared to all the other energy drinks I have tried and mostly disliked this is the best tasting and cheapest way to go-heck Red Bull only has 80 mg of caffeine per can so this Power Edge beats it by a longshot and tastes wayyy better too!! BIG THUMBS UP FROM ME-especially if you double the sticks up to enhance the flavor and the energy!!!!

I get them at Walmart and think they’re tasty. I’ve tried others over the past year, but for price and ingedients keep going back to the Edge. As for taste I add a little more water and good to go!
I’d like to try the lemon-lime but tange/straw and berry are all can find.

This is a sensational product, it only takes some getting used to for taste but they do keep you alert and sound during the day. Plus they get you back to use water as your daily supply and stop the intake of expensive fancy caffeine drinks and their calory composition. For all of you out there who can’t pass the taste adjusting period.. Just a reminder: All medicines taste bad but we do take it anyways because we know it will help or even cure us. I even reduced my weight by switching 100% to water and I must say that I feel healthier mentally and physically than ever before. Walmart has the best price on this product and a full range of flavors and brands, try avoiding overpriced items in local gas stations. I recommend this product to anyone that works hard and needs to be alert and sound and fit to meet their daily routine. Now I take my bottle of water everywhere just like I used to do with my coke’s or mountain dews. You can’t go wrong when you feel great and save money at the same time. Also if you do work out, is a great aid to have by your bench.

This is a great product. I’ll catch myself drinking 4 or 5 a day so I have to be careful. I haven’t tried the lemon lime, but the mixed berry is better than the tangerine imo.

I send these to my husband and his fellow soldiers in Afghanistan they love them and less than $2 a box I send them several boxes at a time. We do not have the lemon lime flavor at the local walmart though.

I have tried these energy drinks and love them! It doesnt take long to feel the rush! Put one pouch to every 16 or 20 oz of water. Most energy drinks have that bitter taste to them anyway. So if you arent used to that then it will take a little getting used to. My husband and I love these! We get them from Wal-Mart. But it seems like every time we start really liking something, Walmart stops selling it. So we get several boxes at a time when we go.

i love it we buy em up people are clearing them off the shelves in st louis i cannot buy another one of those over priced fattening full of carb cans ever again i am hooked, it is really good and i gotta get up at 4 am and i drink one and feel alert all throughout my 12 hour shift i highly recommend this product it leaves no aftertaste it is like 95% less calories from the average drink and it has no crash with the affordability i could not ask for a better tasting all around better product

Clyde October 17th, 2009 11:56 am

I love these. You can’t beat the price. You do have to get used to the taste but I don’t generally like anything with artificial sweetener in it. I go through them like crazy. Just bought out walmart because I think they may be discontinuing them…. I like them so much I’ll buy them off the internet if I have to. No more soda for me!

Mack October 30th, 2009 7:47 pm

I was drinking Power Edge for two weeks and had a seizure from aspartame poisoning which is what they use to sweeten it with. STAY AWAY FROM THIS STUFF!
