An American Blast in Russia?
Oh say can you see, by the dawn’s early light an American Blast Energy Drink on the store shelves in Mother Russia?
I was reading about this newish drink called American Blast with its over the top patriotic packaging and was surprised when I found out it was being marketed across the US, Mexico, and Russia of all places.
The USA isn’t exactly having the best relations with Russia right now, so it’s kind of funny to think of Russians walking around Red Square with a red, white, and blue can of American Blast. I’m not sure I understand the marketing plan of this drink but stranger things have happened.
Could an energy drink unite our two countries and bring peace? Maybe after drinking the 8.3 oz can containing 200mg of caffeine, the Russians would feel so good that they would look at the can and fall in love with America.
I’m really surprised this drink wasn’t served and toasted at the Democratic Convention last week as all the Democratic politicians were having their hay day on the eve of endorsing new laws that could possibly limit caffeine amounts in energy drinks. Feel the power!

It is a funny name, American Blast. Since when is America supposed to be known for caffeine buzzes and overdoses? Hm, well, caffeine abuse with huge commercial backing probably is an American innovation, actually.
