“Myrtle Beach police tracked down a man accused of shoplifting energy drinks from a local grocery store, a police report showed.

James William Wolfe Jr., 44, was charged with shoplifting under $1,000 after a manager at Piggly Wiggly called police at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, police said.

The manger told police a man came into the store at 1700 North Kings Highway, picked up a $5 store bag and put a 4-pack of Tilt energy drinks into the bag and then walked out of the store, the report showed. The manager gave police the license plate number of the car the man left in.

Police tracked the car to 12th Avenue North and found the man inside and the drink cans in the trash, the report showed.”

I’m still laughing….. I hope the four can buzz was worth his time in jail. I’ve never heard of Tilt, but after a little research I discovered it’s an alcoholic energy drink, but funny that the article just said it was an energy drink. Could this be another attempt by the media to defame our beloved drinks?
