Hydrive X
It’s frustrating sometimes when your searching for a new drink and you just keep running across the same old options.
I’m sure with the economy in the tank that this trend will continue. Retailers are not willing to take a risk on some unproven new product.
I was very surprised, therefore, to find something new (to me) last week. Due to their limited distribution range, Hydrive doesn’t show up in many of the stores I frequent, but here in front of me were five new flavors of energy water, V, X, E, S, and A. Delighted, I snapped up a sample of each and started off with Hydrive X, triple berry.
Taste
Hydrive X tastes like Koolaid. More specifically black cherry Koolaid and it is delicious. It does taste slightly watered down and you can tell that not much sweetener was used, but it is still by far the most refreshing energy water I’ve ever tasted.
Ingredients
The X stands for anti-oXidants according the the bottle. This drink promises to fight off free radicals with EGCG, Ginko Biloba, Apple Polyphenols, Acai Exctract, Selenium, and Zinc. Join that together with 145mg of caffeine, taurine, L-Carnatine, L-Arginine and plenty of B vitamins and you have a pretty unique blend per 15.5 ounce serving.
Energy
Hydrive X is not a powerhouse energy drink, but it does provide a modest boost and a feeling of hydration I don’t get from other energy waters. I tweaked for a bit after chugging the bottle and settled in on a focused, alert state that was very pleasant and subtle.
Verdict
I liked this drink enough to buy several more before the store sold out and I’d be forced to wander the earth wondering if I’d ever see it again. I’m definitely a fan of the different approach they’ve taken to the energy drink and can’t wait to dig into a few more of their offerings to see what’s in store…

Great quality review. Hydrive is found at most Target stores. These are the best summer energy drinks.
Seem more like a health drink rather than energy
They definitely push the healthful aspects but when was the last time you saw a “health” drink with 145mg of caffeine?
When you say target, you mean the department store in australia, yeh? Or is there a store in the US called target also?
The USA has target, which is like a slightly upscale WalmartT

They’re all good. Every last one of them.
