Blood Energy Potion: Yes, Blood, You Heard Us!
We just got the heads up on a new/grotesque way to get your caffeine fix.
If you happen to be a vampire and a caffeine addict, then Blood Energy Potion is for you.
Blood Energy is a Harcos product who also makes Mana Energy Potion and Health Energy Potion so it obviously has it’s roots in the gaming world or perhaps they’re taking advantage of the Twilight hype.
This is probably the most novel energy drink we’ve seen to date and we’re working to get our fangs into one so we can review it for all you energy fiend vampire want-a-bes.
Blood Energy Potion is on pre-order from Urban Collector and should be available from January 2010 onwards. With Halloween coming up, I would have thought Harcos would have pushed to release it in October. We don’t have much information on the product other than this printed on the transfusion bag.
“Not only does Blood Energy Potion have a similar nutritional makeup to real blood, but it has the same color, look, and consistency of blood. Get real blood nutrients without that real blood taste!”
Can we all say, YUM! This is one that I’m sure glad Dusty gets to review first! See His Review Here!
Update: Harcos released this product early so head over to ThinkGeek and order some!

For Fallout fans?
Hey guys I just tasted this bloody delight. Any of you tropical punch fans? Its actually not bad! Its the consistency of blood and has an iron-like aftertaste to it! Picked it up at Frys in Renton! Check it out! Yum!
I’ve just had one today, and it’s absolutely great.
I drank it about an hour or so ago, and I’ve still got energy from it. Which is weird because I burn through energy drinks like flash paper.
And not just the jittery, twitchy kind of energy I know and love. I can focus on things more easily.
It’s a good clean stamina boost, and it’s a refreshing change of pace. There is no caffeine content however, which I really don’t mind actually. I get caf-dep headaches if I don’t get a certain amount of caffeine every day [same with nicotine, but that's a different story]. So this may present a problem for me–and some others with caffeine addictions like me. I’ve got some Jolt gum somewhere when the headache actually does hit.
Taste 7/10
Texture [carbonation or otherwise] 6/10
Boost 7/10
Duration 7/10 [it says 4 hours, but I'm sure it varies]
Overall score 7/10
I recommend it for
Sorry, got distracted.
I recommend it for times of strain where stamina is needed. Most energy drinks are more focused on speed. Blood Potion however, is great when you need to sprint from a to b, carrying something heavy.
Ah, I suppose there is caffeine in it.

Ya Ted, thanks for that comment. Let me review the iffy ones first just in case they’re deadly lol
Personally, I prefer A- so we’ll see how it goes.
