Both Monster drinks and Amp were on sale. Drink Monster on Monday, I felt full of power for the whole 4 hours. Have the Amp on Tuesday, I was actually confuse if I forgot to have one, too weak for Energy drinks. I think a cup of coffee is even stronger!!! I also prefer the Monster and Red Bull taste more.(not a big fan of Rockstar) Funny thing is I always pick Amp up at work, because the gas station always have it on sale, no wonder why I was still so tired at work!

This Amp along with all the other flavours, helped me through my second semester of college. There were weeks where I would only sleep 5 hours the whole week, and Amp was the drink helping me stay awake. I like that they don’t have that “energy dirnk taste”. And I find enough caffeine in them.

I must say I do enjoy the flavor of this drink. Amp always has been more known for their “none energy taste” which is why I have been a fan of Amp from the beginning.

To say that it is just like any other soda is not a good description at all. It contains the normal energy drink ingredients and at the same level as some other energy drinks.

I personally don’t get the same kick from energy drinks as most people aside from RAGE energy so I can’t really comment on personal experience.

Overall however I think It’s a great tasting energy drink just as good as Rockstar’s new drink Recovery.

I agree with you Dusty. It tastes good but doesn’t give me the energy I need. I will keep drinking the 5-Hour Energy Shot for the energy I need.

I’ve been drinking this one casually for a few weeks now. You’re right, the energy is lame, just like all the Amps. The taste, though, I do enjoy. It reminds me of Lemon Heads candy. This is all Amp has ever been good for in my book. They’re just tasty sodas that might randomly tickle you with some caffeine
