How accurate are the Caffeine Counts?
Caffeine amounts are sourced from the manufacturer or by examining the nutrition label. Sometimes independent lab tests show caffeine levels to be slightly different from that which manufacturers claim. The Death by Caffeine time frame is 100 coffees back to back without stopping
Don’t try that at home….
Dogflap, you don’t have to be concerned if you go over that limit within a year. The numbers on this site are based off the amount of caffeine in each individual drink, and how much caffeine would have to be in your system at once in order to kill you. So in other words, unless you can drink 100 cups of starbucks in a day, then you probably will not die. Keep in mind that this site only factors in caffeine as what would kill you, so some of these drinks will kill you faster than what the numbers reflect.
I frikkN love STARBUCKS
@starz: As someone who has had issues with overconsumption of caffeine during my teenage years and a total of maybe 4 pimples in my life… I think your theory is a little silly
Hi. Thanks for the info, but where do your references come from?
Thanks, N
You’re welcome Nadz. If you look at the page of each individual drink listing references are cited at the bottom. It’s usually the drink container, the official website, direct email from the company, or independent lab tests of the products in question.
The new V Pocket Rockets have caffeine content reduced to 120mg.
Dear Kate:
Soon in the Christian Tradition we celebrate the season of Lent in which we give something up for a deeper relationship with Christ Our Lord, in order later to enjoy it in moderation with the Lord. Believer or not, try subtracting one Diet Coke a week from your diet. Add one cup of water more than usual, add one
cup of fruit juice and one cup of vegetable juice a week all for 40 days.
Really dodgy figures here people. Australian Mountain Dew does not, repeat NOT contain caffeine.
Really Ozmoses? Because New Zealand Mountain Dew does have caffeine.
Well ozmoses if you read the back of the mountain dew can it says “Mountain Dew: Citrus flavoured cola drink: contains caffiene” so I’m pretty sure it does.
hahaha, soo I can survive 501 cans of pulse which is an alcoholic drink!?! sweet…will test it out next weekend
very helpful and alarming information
Does anyone know the caffeine content in a 750 g canister of Nescafe’s “Ricoffy”?? I live in South Africa and cannot find this information anywhere on the web!
I just emailed Nescafe’ South Africa so we’ll see if they respond.
