I was recently sent a few samples of all of the Kombucha Energy Shots to try out.

Taste

Pomegranate Extreme: This version has a slightly sweet and tart tea flavor. Some bitterness comes through a tad, but I liked the fact that there was no artificial sweeteners used to cover it up.

Citrus: This flavor was the most tart of the three, but it went down quickly.

Berry: This was my favorite of the three. It had a nice berry tea flavor with just a little bitterness at the finish.

Kombucha Extreme Energy Effect/Verdict

I drank the extreme energy version before my cardio exercise and it gave me a nice boost in performance and I stayed energized most of the afternoon.

The regular strength versions also provided a nice lift, but slightly less intense. I used one before a workout and the other just as I worked. They did the trick.

I liked these shots. They are all natural and the health benefits of kombucha tea is well documented. It was nice to find some energy shots without artificial sweeteners and that I felt good about drinking.
