Taste

Taking that first sip I get what I find in every other Rip It, a heavy carbonation. Depending on the flavor, sometimes the carbonation adds to the taste and feel of the drink, yet in this case I would rather have the carbonation level dialed down a bit. As for the taste, I do get a nice raspberry/berry taste, yet I think they forgot the lemonade in this one. Just simply, the raspberry/berry taste dominates too much for the lemonade flavor to filter through, which is a shame…

Effect/ Verdict

After consuming the 16oz can of Rip it Le Moan'R, I was quickly awakened with a rush of energy. Within minutes of finishing the can, I felt the old heart going a little faster and my alertness at full speed ahead. This feeling lasted just short of 4 hours, with a decent crash at the end.

The taste wasn't my favorite as I'm not a big raspberry fan, yet the taste wasn't bad by any means. However, the energy rush was much stronger than I expected. I may not find myself craving this drink for its taste, but I will be craving that energy rush again.
