Caffeine Content of Rockstar Zero Carb
A 16 ounce can of Rockstar Zero Carb contains 240 milligrams of caffeine.
Rockstar make a number of different energy drinks including energy cola, Rockstar Juiced, and sugar-free Rockstar.
The Zero Carb version, however, has one of the highest concentrations of caffeine found in an energy drink.
The cans come in 16 or 24 ounce sizes, with 1000mg of Taurine, 120mg of caffeine and 100mg of Green Tea extract per 8 ounce serving.
However there is a discrepancy in their ingredients list with the Green Tea listed before the Caffeine. This would indicate that there is less caffeine than green tea and does not correlate with their gram weights.
Of course, the total caffeine amount listed may include some caffeine from both the Green Tea and Yerba Mate extract. This highlights the confusion that exists with caffeine labeling.
Does the caffeine milligram amount include just pure caffeine? Or does it include the caffeine levels of other extracts such as Guarana or Green Tea?
