Are they saying you have to drink that much in one day or one year to kill you?

David Anderson October 29th, 2006 5:50 pm

Check out UPTime,

They sponsored our bicycle racing team back in the 1980’s!

tracy: It’s based on the LD50 (lethal dose) of caffeine. Essentially it’s how much you have in your system at one time (which obviously depends on how slowly/quickly your liver works) - and also differences in caffeine sensitivity. See more about the timeframe here.

I LOVE! Häagen-Dazs Coffee Ice Cream. Its soooooooooo good :)

mike A November 1st, 2006 10:28 pm

tooth paste is poisonous also but you have to digest an absurd amount off the active ingredient to kill.
On the other hand after a 24 oz Rockstar in less than a half hour my body feels like I relapsed with amphetimines. My advise is to limit intake to 7hrs prior to bed w/ all stimulant beverages.

Type: Pill
Caffeine (mg): 140

Commuter December 7th, 2006 3:00 pm

How much caffeine is in an espresso bean? I am thinking along the lines of chocolate covered espresso beans (a favorite snack)

Thanks!

raf December 30th, 2006 8:50 am

I love this product so much I had to add it to your list - Jumpstart Extreme Energy - 120mg - pill. But wow it packs an awesome punch and makes you smile like crazy.

Alice H January 8th, 2007 8:51 am

Is the caffeine in the espresso beans listed above a per-bean amount, or is it per some undisclosed serving size?

Caffeine Fiend January 8th, 2007 12:03 pm

For the Shock-a-lots chocolate covered beans - that is per bean.

fred January 21st, 2007 12:22 am

so what?

tdk January 25th, 2007 9:16 am

I am curious to know what the content of a 32 oz. soda fountain coke from white hen, 7-11 or McDonalds would be. It is my absolute favorite drink, but should I stop?

sfhsfh January 25th, 2007 11:56 am

this site is cool, for the death by caffeine part, but thats about it.

Matt February 13th, 2007 8:29 pm

Also, you should include the very popular Stackers line of products, where the amount of caffeine and caffeine-containing products can range up to 250 mg and probably higher. This product happens to be a favorite of mine, though ephedrine is used in a select few of their products.

I don’t understand why they don’t have Venti Starbucks servings. They have tall and grande…

Michael March 19th, 2007 4:12 pm

Just do what I did: add a grande and then a shot of espresso (I order triple grandes anyway, so this makes perfect sense for me)

Noah March 20th, 2007 9:32 am

Actually, both grande and venti Starbucks drinks come with a double shot of espresso. A grande with an add shot would not be an accurate estimate of what a Venti would be.
