Hi Caitlin, I have had very good results with NAET therapy to get easily rid of the caffein allergy (and others), see http://www.naet.com.
Sure, go ahead and try NAET (a form of applied kinesiology) if you feel like paying someone a lot of money for a placebo effect. There is absolutely no sound scientific basis for NAET. It is pure quackery.

I’m allergic as well, so I’m with Caitlin…Love the site! It’s a great help. First one I’ve seen that could help me control my allergy better.
Linda - that website requires user id and password to see anything at all. Are you sure you’ve typed it correctly?
Thank you for publishing this site. I have had anxiety problems for years and was told to stay away from caffeine containing products. I never knew that caffeine was in decaf coffee or any other decaf drinks and some candies. I never really looked, but took for granted that if it says “decaf” then there is no caffeine in it. I will have to cut down on decaf iced coffee and chai teas. No wonder my meds were not working as good as they could.
What legal product will give you the largest blast of caffeine in a dose? This is for a project, THANKS!
Thanx so much for this awesome website. I think that it is very important for people to see how much bad things that they eat. However caffine is not necessarily bad for you but too much is. This web site can help people realize when IS too much. I am also using this website for a project and it really helps. (I AM REFERENCING IT!)
you’re actually quite right in that caffeine is “not necesarily bad for you.” actually, if you do your homework, you’ll find that most of the research out there points to health benefits from significant amounts of caffeine intake. check out Richard Lovett’s article “coffee:the demon drink?” published in the Sept. 24, 2005 edition of New Scientist
Ihave a panic disorder therefore am not allowed to have caffeine need a website for people like me more info please
Thank you for making this website so easily… found… I believe it will help me greatly in my personal mission. I’ve already set aside the money needed, now I know just the right amount to drink. Thank you, thank you.
omg i love this site..it can tell me what i can do to get more caffeine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!i am in love wiht caffeine this helps me alot
I just bought some ‘Designer Whey Detour BUZZ’ bars with caffiene… can you add them to the chart? I am curious how much they have in them.
This site is awesome, stumbled across it today accidentally and love it! The more caffeine the better; I am addicted!!!
How much caffeine is there in starbucks chocolate covered expresso beans??
I’m wondering if you’ve had a chance to review Think Gum, a caffeinated gum. The website is http://www.thinkgum.com. A lot of people chew it at UCLA and they say it’s good for finals. Interested in your opinion. Thanks!
This site is amazing for pregnant women! We are encouraged to have only 150mg per day of caffiene. This has helped me to be able to drink and eat some things I was told were “no-no’s”.
Just stumbled across Detour buzz (caffeinated version of the Detour body builder protein bars) and was wondering if anyone knew what the caffeine content is for these things.
I am looking for items full of caffeine that would surprise 4th graders..We are doing a presentation to show how caffeine hides in some popular items.
this site is convienient for me.
no i am not allergic to caffine,
but i like to know how much is in
the stuff i injest. so yeah.
I just got one thing to add, Why all the complicated critical analysis on caffeine content in beverages and food? wouldn’t it be so much easier to cut caffeine out completely than moderating and experimenting with the negative effects of caffeine addiction? I’m 28 and was a caffeine addict, and shamelessly, still am. It totally killed my sex life, and bloated me up around the waist. It truly is an energy fiend, especially if you’re diabetic, like me.
This is a great site. Very interesting and informative. We were shocked at some of the caffeine contents on the food and drinks lists. Whoever researched all of this, great job. Your information is very well organized, and your page is easy to navigate.
[…] is a separate listing for caffeine in food, which in addition to the obvious (chocolate) includes such things as coffee-flavored yogurt and […]
Caffeine is sooo good for you. When I was weaned off the milk bottle mama graduated me to coca-cola. Well im doing great and in perfect health, and now into energy drinks, and gourmet coffee. Grandma lived to 93 and healthy to the very end. Bless Energyfiend for the info. Thanks!
I live in germany, and right now it is 2:55 am. I cant sleep because I had too much caffiene, probbably the most I’ve ever had. Do not be mislead by Jolt Gum, they claim 2 peices (~24 mg)= 1cup of coffee (~45 mg), but it’s not true (check this site). In fact, jolt is pretty lame, a 16 oz. can of monster, rockstar, or rip it, has more caffiene than the entire 12 piece pack. Yesterday I ate “3 cups” (60-70 mg), and didnt feel a thing. Five hours ago, I drank a 16 oz. can of Rip it (200 mg), and still cant sleep. After about 15 min., I got very jittery. Never been like that before. Two cups of coffee, no, 1 capp. + “3 cups”, no, 3 expressos, no, 1 Rip it, guess.
Caffeine is a blessing, espressos are God. No, seriously.
Btw, I totally dig the kill me-o-meter on here. ![]()
What is your source for this data? Any real science involved or just computed from hearsay?
Great info. thanks.
Lance man, just a little reading will give the source:
This is a GREAT web site. Thanks for the Info.
I thought everyone might want to know that there is a new candybar out that has caffeine in it. The name is Snickers Charged.
Hi,
First I would like to voice my opinion.
Caffeine should be banned it is a drug, just like nicotine,I believe the public has been brainwashed by television commercials and advertisements. And the public should start smartening up.
The latest news I’ve heard is that their using more caffeine in candy products.
Back in the 1940’s the public was brainwashed by cigarettes and coffee.Because they were not educated about nutrition.
All these Starbucks Coffee Restaurants are selling drugs to the public. And everywhere I go would you like coffee or hot chocolate with your order?
If their going to bust baseball players for taking drugs.
I think they should bust the public too. Because caffeine is a drug and should be banned.
for Lance
Ok, i typed that on my palm pilot, so i accidentally said coffe has ~45mg, but it has ~145mg. Lance, how can you ask where is my source WHEN YOU’RE ON IT?!?!? If you had the brains to scroll up and look at Jolt gum, or click “Caffiene in Drinks” you would know.
Also, i said “[…] but it’s not true (check this site). In fact, jolt is pretty lame […].” WHY DIDN’T YOU CHECK THE SITE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS LIST!!! I hate coffee but I need caffeine because I wake up 4 a.m. and I’m go to bed almost 11 p.m. Also I need caffeine for my gym routine. I HATE COFFEE!!!
Guitar Wizard-
My widson told me (and most likely many others here) to ignore your post, but the Dr. in me just had to speak out.
Caffeine is a drug, however, so is tyramine which is in lima beans. Tyramine sends people with a bladder condition called Interstitial Cystitis up the wall in total pain. Should it be banned? Food is full of many natural chemicals which do all kinds of negative things to your body. So don’t eat a truck load of lima beans and don’t drink ten gallons of coffee a day.
This is called using your brain. They have actually discovered that caffeine is beneficial to ADHD children - it calms them down. There are many studies right now on the effects of caffeine on neurotransmitters in the brain. It can also release endorphins, the same way chocolate does.
So please - don’t say it should be banned just because too much of it is bad. Too much of anything is bad - especially if it’s freedom of speech for the terminally stupid.
hey i havent read all of the comments above.. just a couple, so maybe the answer is already there.
i would like to know, however, if there is any caffeine in a regular piece of gum (say wrigley’s extra just for the sake of it)
if anyone knows about this cause i cant find anything on the internet about it just send us an email mr_pyrgos@hotmail.com because i will forget to come check up on it here!
cheers
I agree with Dr. Tara. Guitar Wizard is an example of what’s wrong with the world today. People have the right to make their own choices on what and what not to consume, do, buy, say. Some people are sensitive to caffeine, it makes them twitchy or whatnot…those people shouldn’t consume caffeine. That’s it. I work at a coffee shop, I consume MASSIVE amounts of caffeine every day from coffee, espresso, energy drinks, teas; and I have had no adverse reactions whatsoever. I do, however, believe products containing caffeine should have their caffeine content marked on their product (for Guitarboy to stay away from, for me to satisfy my curiosity about that actual amount of caffeine i have every day..)
essay done. energyfiend is amazing, learn all kinds of fascinating information about this stuff. love it, keep it up.
That SUCKS to be allergic to caffeine, damn

Thank you so much for this site. I am allergic to caffeine so the more websites like this out there the better off I am!
Thanks again and keep up the good work!
