Crunk Mango Peach: Crunklicious?

crunk-mango-peach-energy-drinkHello Sir / Mam, I am pleased to inform you that we have pre-approved you for access to a review of the new energy drink, Crunk Mango-Peach!

This is a limited one-time offer, so act now! Certain restrictions may apply.

Taste

This version of Crunk serves as a deluxe playground for mango and peach to play together and get along. That flavor combo isn’t exactly my kind of thing, but thankfully Crunk sent me enough samples to give to my friends who can appreciate this category of taste. Invariably, it was a huge smash-hit among them all. If mangoes and peaches are your thing, then you’re gonna love Crunk Mango-Peach. Guaranteed.

Ingredients

Caffeine: 192mg (likely over 200mg with the undisclosed guarana content). B-vitamins: Roughly 200% of the ones that matter. Now let’s get trippy: awkwardly mingling amongst the standard energy drink content we have ashwaganda, skull cap, white willow, and horny goat weed. Take all of that as you like. Feel free to chime in with a comment if you have any idea why those ingredients are supposed to matter.

Effect

Solid energy drink. No crash, consistent, and easily perceptible with a smooth operating curve. Incomplete sentences. English teacher. Take that.

Verdict

Here’s the wrap up: Crunk Mango-Peach is a wonderful contender as an energy drink. As a sipping drink, it can be your new best friend, provided you have the proper prerequisites in your taste buds (read: a love for mango and peach flavors).

  • You should review the other new flavors they have out; Grape-Acai and Berry. Both are pretty good, I recently added both to my collection but have yet to find this flavor…

Still have yet to see any type of Crunk myself. Though if did I’d give this one a pass, not much of mango or peach type of person.

Tim, if I find them I will. Those sound amazing, considering Crunk seems to know how to do fruit flavoring right

  • The Crowing

I love the Crunk products I’ve tried before, usually end up picking them over others because they taste good and are usually cheaper than anything else.
Mango / Peach isn’t exactly my thing, but I’m stoked to get my hands on some anyway. Thanks for the heads up

Ashwaganda is a sedative/anti-anxiety aid… maybe to reduce the jitters of the caffeine? Same with Skullcap, white willow contains a natural form of aspirin, caffeine and aspirin actually have a synergistic effect making them both stronger… can’t recall the mechanism of action off the top of my head… and the horny goat weed contains a chemical that increases nitric oxide in the body causing muscle relaxation and blood vessel dilation, the dilation would increase absorption of the caffeine… and the relaxed muscles reduce jitteryness… with all the sedatives in there… maybe they are going for a SpeedBall type affect?

  • The mango is a really well put together drink. I still think the lemon-lime is my favorite though.
