Just the skinny on dopamine, the neurotransmitter:

Dopamine is produced within the brain. Elevated levels are associated with thrilling and exciting activities.

Dopamine is a protein, and if swallowed would quickly be “denatured” (chemically altered) by stomach acid. Ingesting dopamine would have no pharmaceutical effect on the brain.

Injection of dopamine would not effect the brain either — it cannot cross the blood-brain barrier. It would, however, stimulate the body’s secondary nervous system — the autonomic nervous system — inducing a sympathetic response: Increased heart rate and blood pressure would result.

There is no actual dopamine in Dopamine Energy Drink. As explained above, ingested dopamine would simply be broken down in the stomach and have no effect on either the central or autonomic nervous systems.

Did some work for someone associated with the brand and got hooked up with a case to try out. I regularly drink Red Bull or whatever else when I need to stay awake for a long drive and to be honest this stuff effects you way differently.. Well maybe “way” differently is putting it too strong but apparently they’re trying do go a different route than just traditional caffeine and you can unquestionably tell. The taste reminds me of Sierra Mist with half the syrup (meaning like the flavor intensity). As is stated on the can it’s obviously geared towards use in drink mixing. It has more of a “complimenting” flavor as opposed to a dominating one. I found this site because I’m sitting here buzzed on it and I started Googling all the ingredients to see why and eventually landed here. Give it a try.

dopamine isn’t actually in it, even if it were, dopamine can’t cross the blood brain barrier (it’s synthesized inside the brain) so giving a person dopamine would do nothing.
