Java Monster: Coffee-flavored Monster Energy
We finally have some more details and pictures on the new Monster energy drinks – called Java Monster. There are three flavors: Big Black, Loca Mocha, and Mean Bean.
This, from an Energy Fiend reader:
The mean bean has a mild vanilla flavor, and the Mocha is slightly chocolaty! The two taste very similar, and resemble a coffee flavored milk more than anything else.
The can boasts “half the caffeine of regular coffee, twice the buzz”
In terms of formulation, Java Monster appears to contains the same “Energy Blend” as straight Monster.
Not quite sure about the “half the caffeine” bit. Monster contains about 70mg caffeine per 8oz – so presumably Java Monster is the same.
Anyone else tried it?

Yeah, I ran across these in 7-11 a few weeks ago. I’ve tried all three and LOVE them! Haven’t been able to find them in grocery stores yet. I’d buy this stuff by the case if I could!
I am OBSESSED with Java Monster…its delicious and it gives me more energy than any other monster (and any other energy drink)!!
I work in a convenience store and we do sell alot of monster drinks, I never care for the regular monster drinks, BUT the ones with coffee in them are awesome they keep me going which we all need in our lives of rushing.
I have a friend that is obsessed with them as well. Every 7-11 that we pass she has to stop in…Right Becca??
I LOVE THEM, I HAD ONE ABOUT # WEEKS AGO AND NOW I AM ADDIDCTED. I TRY TO FIND AN EXCUSE TO STOP WHEN WE PASS A 7-11…I WISH THEY WEREN’T ALMOST 3 DOLLARS, BUT I AM WILLING TO PAY, HEHE!
My husband works for one of the Monster distributors, so thankfully I have easy access to the Java Monster. I am not a fan of the regular Monster flavors…they are way too sweet for me. When he brought the Java home & told me to just try it, I was instantly hooked!

this shit is amazing…i had the loca mocha at a big gas station about an hour from my house…and im addicted to it…the bad thing is i cant find them anywhere in my town…
i had the big black and it not only tasted good but gave me the best buzz yet.. that lasted a ridiculoulsy long time. I thought i was getting immune to the buzzes but the monster java proved me wrong!

Yeah….these drinks are awesome!! I’ve had a hard time finding a good coffee flavored drink that doesn’t give me a full milky feeling after. I’m not into “energy” drinks, so I was surprised to actually have a little ‘high’ after.
I tried one while driving home from a trip to Florida I think it was around Tyler Texas, and I live in Kansas and can not find it anywhere around here

Loca Moca is amazing. I want to find them at every store. Only found them in the bp off on 150th off of 71 near the airport.
My boyfriend found these in some whole in the wall gas station on Orange Blossom Trail in Polk County (FL) brought it home for me to taste, OH MY GOD! These things surpass almost anything I have ever tasted. I love the regular monster drinks but these are so much better!!! The only problem is this place is like 45 minutes from my house, now I just have to find a store near my house that sells these!!
