But if the coffee you usually drink is 2%, and they mix 2% yerba mate with 2.5% coffee, the blend will be more caffeinated than what you usually drink, overall. The taste may be affected by the addition of the yerba mate. I have a shipment of the brew on the way, will post again regarding flavor.

As to the strength of the brew, if you added .7% yerba mate to the weaker concentration coffee, you would get less caffeine overall. I hope that's never aired on tv...and if it already has, how long it will take for the company to get sued.

HOLY CRAP! A strong cup of mate gives me a body high, as opposed to the head trip of coffee. After I heard of Meth I tried mixing the two on my own - and brothers, it was a STRONG CUP OF JO!!! :)

If you haven’t tried yerba mate before, it has a slightly different “buzz” than regular coffee.
