Originally Monster wanted to call this drink Protein Monster

Muscle Monster Energy Drink is the latest product coming soon from Monster Energy.

Basically, it will be a line of energy drinks that also are infused with liquid protein. Muscle Monster will launch with three flavors; Chocolate, Vanilla, and Coffee.

It seems like these drinks will have a creamy texture unlike other protein infused energy drinks like XAPP Energy Drink who managed to add protein and still keep it light and carbonated.

The sports supplement industry is huge, so it will be interesting to see how Muscle Monster competes with giants like BSN and Muscle Milk.

Ingredients in Monster Muscle Energy Drink

What we can gather from sources like Bevnet, Muscle Monster Energy will contain the following per 15.5 oz. can:

• 25 grams of protein.
• Monster’s standard energy blend which should put the beverage at 160 mg of caffeine.
• Along with the protein would be some type of sugar/sweetener blend for a total 200 calories per can.

Monster Energy still ranks a solid second in world-wide energy drink sales, so we’ll have to wait and see if this new product line gives them big enough muscles to catch and bring down the Bull.
