Actually, the taste is the best part of this drink! (this is a company that built it’s reputation outside of the energy drink arena, their ginger beer is awesome but no caffeine in it. It’s like a ginger-ale energy drink… but without the energy . The description of the effects are unfortunately right on.

i love it too! the “burn” is from the ginger and you can’t expect a cracked out energetic feel from natural ingredients — and that’s the way it should be! this is the natural alternative and it tastes great.

I love Reed’s Energy Drink! I drink one before I mountain bike and I love the non-jittery feeling. Plus its healthy and taste better than those “Crack in a can” drinks!

I love the fact that this product enhances NATURAL ENGERGY…I love it…I tried it and it has the same effect on me as Ginsana..except better. The more I do the more I want to do. And if I don’t choose to move I don’t get jittery. I’m a ginger freak love this drink has taken the place of ginger ale with a meal.

I absolutely LOVE this drink! I couldn’t believe the negative review it got here; the reviewer just doesn’t like ginger, or strong ginger, is all I can figure; this elixir is delicious, refreshing, light, and gives me a very energized feeling (and not from caffeine — except the small amount in the green tea — none added). I was looking for a site where I could buy it by the case, too, when I came across this review — UNFAIR TO REED’S! ~

I think it’s mainly the ginger thing…If you like ginger, you’ll love the drink if you don’t like ginger then you’ll hate it…

I agree with Sylvia and Viki. This drink is awesome. It tastes great and it gives a natural flow of energy. Anyone who doesn’t like it is not dedicated to being health conscious.

I had my first can of this today and came home immediately to see where I can get more. I absolutely loved it. Of course, I am a freak for ginger, and that’s probably the ‘burn’ you refer to. I thought it was absolutely delicious, and it did give me a boost without amping me out of my skull. I thought the balance of flavors was just right … not syrupy sweet, just enough carbonation to clear the taste buds, nice lemony tang somewhere in the mix, and no ‘medicine’ taste, as sometimes occurs when there are B vitamins in the ingredients. I also liked that it wasn’t an enormous can. Those can pack enough sugar to create a guaranteed crash. Yep, I’m definitely ordering a case of it.
