I love this drink. Its my favorite to drink and I like to compare this to all the other drinks I drink. The red tastes like nice fruit punch and the orange tastes like actual orange. Best energy drink Ive com across. Has anyone else tried the pills or the energy shot? Theyre just as fun

I drank a SPIKE:Shotgun and about half a can of monster within 15 minutes, and then I fell asleep about a half hour later. I was like wow this sucks. When I woke up, which was about 30 minutes ago, I felt energetic, not jittery, but refreshed and energized. Which was pretty cool. Love the taste too.

Here my comment is penned…on a year-old energy drink review. But I just had it for the first time this week! So it works.

I have to say- this drink rocks. Taste? Eh, nothing to write home about. But mojo? Ahhhhh. *shiny*

I’m on graveyard and went for 52 hours with only 2 hrs of sleep. Practically in a stupor two hours into my shift. Drank this, and I didn’t feel the effects weaken till 5 hours later. It was awesome. And it was still going when I went to sleep. So, it lasted at least partially for 7 hours.

It quite frankly tastes like a sports/musclehead drink, and not the good kind. But it’s not terrible by any means. All I have to say to Josh is, Cocaine is still better than Spike (lemon slice). But I like this a lot now.

i just tried spike shotgun yesterday by chance. the fact that they actually listed the caffiene content on the can already had me sold (So few energy drinks do that) But it was the sheer amt of caffene that really got me to buy one. I expected it to taste like shit especially since its sugar/calorie/carb free. HOLY CRAP this is the best tasting energy drink I have ever had. Theres no way you would want to drink more than 32oz of this in a day. I drink alot of caffene but spike shotgun has knocked my socks off. (and no i dont work for them but i wish i did. They could pay me in shotguns)

i’m right there with tatsumaster. i can’t find shotgun anywhere, and the counter guys at 711 yell at me in some laguage i don’t understand when i ask them about it now. honestly though, i’m kind of sad to see the yohimbine go, i kind of like the almost uncontrollable feeling. the only thing i’ve found to match that jitter without the yohimbine (or at least i can’t find it on the label) is “EndoRush” which i found at GNC. but it doesn’t taste as good as spike..

I had quite an experience with Spike Shotgun. Shooters are different, love ‘em. Have them all the time. When I had the Shotgun, I’d already had about half a 24oz bottle of Mountain Dew. Drank the Shotgun in about half an hour. I also smoke cigarettes. Finished the Shotgun, then the rest of the bottle of Dew. It was a VERY interesting next 4 hours. Oh, and this was on an empty stomach.

But I will the agree with the reviewer, Shotgun’s do seem smoother tasting. But I like the Shooter’s too.

I can’t find this. I tried a couple of liquor stores and some GNC’s and vitamin shops. They’ve never even heard of it. Can’t wait to get my hands on one though.
