Starbucks Vending Machines
Starbucks are taking over the world.
Recently they began their own record label (Hear Music). For some reason Paul McCartney decided to break off his 43 year partnership with EMI and go with the Starbucks label instead.
Sometime in the very near future Starbucks plan to distribute their own vending machines for hot drinks.
With a simple swipe of a payment card (or with cash), a high-quality, hot latte or hot cocoa is served up in a ready-to-drink package in less than a minute. Utilizing proprietary packaging, each hot beverage will come in a convenient 9-fluid-ounce recyclable steel can with an insulating label, designed to keep the beverage warm, enjoyable, and still comfortable to the touch (source).
Hot beverage offerings will include Caffe Latte, Vanilla Latte, Caffe Mocha, Caffe Mocha Light, and Hot Cocoa.
So, hot coffee in a can.
Convenient – but not quite as nice as having a chat to the barista about life, the universe, and the nature of coffee. Then again – I’m not even sure if you get that kind of service in a busy Starbucks outlet anyway.

Interesting. Though i don’t much like starbuck’s, that would be very convenient, since i no longer drink soft drinks.
Heck yeah! I stopped going to Starbucks here lately…no reason…but this would be awesome to have in colleges…I would drink one before every class.
Eww. That’ll probably be overpriced too. $6 for a small hot chocolate? NO thanks, ‘bucks.
Interesting concept. It would be good if you were in a pinch for a coffee. But Starbucks is more than just coffee, it’s an experience that can only be enjoyed in one of their stores.

I for one think this is an excellent Idea. I would love to get them into the movie theater chain that I work for. Customers are always asking for coffee at the concession stands but we are ill equiped to deliver a good cup of joe. This would satisfy their need for a caffeine fix and take the quality control out of our hands. Who can I call to get a dozen of these machines?
