Wave Energy Drink Review
Do the Wave, Wave of energy, ride the Wave, catch the Wave, Wave goodbye to fatigue.
Wave energy drink had a grab bag slogans to pick from, as you can see from the potential ones I put together in a matter of minutes. So what did they go with? “Taste the Wave”.
According to the can graphic we’re talking about a giant ocean wave, the salt water kind. Umm… no.
Taste
I experienced a standardized energy drink taste with an unfortunate little extra of something else I can’t identify. Maybe it was actual salt water and their slogan really is literally asking you to taste a real live ocean wave. Seriously, it does say “all natural flavors” and “…taste of a tidal wave” right on the can. Consider my imagination intrigued.
Ingredients
This unique drink is packing 30% of your daily salt value, 150% of your weekly shrimp brine intake, and 5% of your yearly seagull poop requirement. Beyond those promising figures, we’re looking at some healthy doses of niacin and riboflavin, along with over 400% of the B6 and B12 values. Caffeine content? Apparently they’re ashamed of it because it’s hidden in a useless figure known as the proprietary blend.
Effect
Surprisingly, Wave performs like a normal energy drink in this category. I use “surprisingly” and “normal” in the same sentence because the taste and presentation of this drink are pretty lame in my book. I didn’t expect much in the way of energy, but it was certainly there. Not much, but it was there.
Verdict
It’s not worth going out of your way to track this one down. If you happen to come across it and you’re feeling frisky, give it a go. Just remember to keep your expectations low.

I actually don’t mind the can graphic. In light of a bunch of energy drink companies trying to copy each others’ EXTREMEity, the wave is unique at least!
But the rest of it sounds pretty lame-o.
At least they came up with an idea that might sell well in the summer. And they also weren’t afraid to add a decent amount of B vitamins.
WOW!! I just found the new Nitrous Monsters at my local 7-11, and got the Killer B one, and it is really good. They were $2.99 each, but I’m hoping that’s just temporary until they’re more readily available.
Yes! the killer B rocks.

Seriously the initial review on this drink is lame. Did they try Wave Energy drink or did they fill a glass up with sea water? I have yet to find a person likes energy drinks that doesn’t love Wave…
This is the only review I’ve found neg. about Wave. The drink has recently become available in my city and it really is one of the best. As a college student I have had my share of energy drinks and am always looking for the newest one. As of now this is my go to. No jitters and the sustained energy helps me focus on studying and then is a nice treat before downtown (mixes well). Try this; Rasberry Vodka, Wave(Reg.), and a splash of OJ. We call it a Rasberry Wave.
