What Happens When You Drink 20 Red Bulls?
This happened a while back, but still makes us laugh serves as an example.
48 year old Peter Edwards was caught “swerving from side to side” across the road. The police had trouble stopping him – he overtook their car and almost rammed into a truck. He was eventually stopped using a “stinger device” that punctured his tyres.
Edwards was later tested and found to be free of any alcohol and drugs.
It turns out he had consumed 20 cans of Red Bull. By the sounds of it, he had been drinking these over the duration of a whole night. By our calculations thats about 1.6 grams – still a long way off from a lethal dose – but enough to make you go crazy.
Red Bull made this inane comment: “there is no added benefit in consuming the product in excessive amounts.” Yeah no kidding.

Red Bull doesn’t energize me at all, and I’m 13 and weigh about 120 lbs. I have to drink two to get energized. If I’ve had other caffeine drinks during the past two or so hours I might get jitters, depending on the caffeine content of the drink. But yeah, I tried drinking a red bull for energy once (I was in a shopping center and felt like taking a nap), and an hour later I still hadn’t felt much. I felt just the tiniest bit of energy, but I still felt like taking a nap.

this is so sad. that someone would actually drink 20 redbulls. i realize it’s been more than a year since someones commented, but i’d just like to point out that America isn’t all that bad. Maybe most of us are overweight and like to shoot guns. But the other people in our country are smart, or athletic. We have some of the best athletes in the world, the best military in the world, and i’m sorry to say it but you brits are just a buncha pussies. i mean seriously, Vietnam is like the only time you’ve ever helped us out, and that doesn’t even COUNT as a war. We had to help you guys out in WWI and WWII. still though, our gov. needs some work. to put it plainly, George Bush messed up big time, and Obama, even though cool i guess, hasn’t really done anything for us. This is serious… I am a caffiene addict (If you can be one… I can consume around 15 cans of energy drinks – ranging from Hemp black label, to big cock, to battery, cocaine, red bull, V, mother, ink, monster, kamakazi, etc) and only then start becoming close to how he was. I usually consume about 3 cans every 5 hours so 5×5=25 so 3×5 = 15… Estimation proven. Luckily here in NZ energy drinks are like $1.20 – $4.50 for one and super lucky when there are deals (which there often are) where you get a drink free or 2 cans equal the price of one can.

i use to drink 10 473ml red bulls a day for over a year never had any side effects
