3 Ultra-Caffeinated Coffees

The caffeine wars hits the coffee blends…

coffee1.jpg1. Meth Coffee
San Francisco-based Meth Coffee use 99.99% arabica beans along with the addition of Yerba Mate – a popular South American herb that contains caffeine.

The drug-reference (i.e. Methamphetamine) is unfortunate, but the warning is entertaining none-the-less.

METH COFFEE SHOULD NOT BE CONSUMED BY minors, bilious baby handlers, hazelnut-flavor whores, swill consumers, anger management seminar attendees, road ragers…

coffee2.jpg2. Ranger Coffee
A US Army instructor concocted this an ultra-caffeinated blend – claiming it has twice the caffeine of your typical coffee

The three bean blend is comprised of Ethiopian Harrar, Sumatran GM, & Tanzania Peaberry and is full bodied with a medium acidic, sweet, rich and nutty taste.

coffee3.jpg3. Shock coffee
Shock coffee make a whole range of products (including Ready-To-Drink cans) as well as their own hyper-caffeinated blend of coffee. Shock claim they “search the globe for highly caffeinated beans.” They also make the “Shock-a-lots” chocolate-covered coffee beans.

I am all over that Meth Coffee. Just reading the stuff on their site will make you want to drop the 12 bucks for a bag. Hell the attitude alone is worth the 12. I hope the guy makes a hunid racks selling this stuff.

I’ve tried Meth Coffee before (in fact, I still have a bag). It’s not quite as “exciting” as I was hoping for, but it is some good coffee. Be sure to check out the video on their site for a laugh.

Last I checked, shipping was a bit steep if you intended to just order a single bag.

we have the Shock where i work, and people always pick it up, but then dont buy it when they get to the register to see how much it costs. Then, the people putting it back cant find where it goes, becuase its some obscure place….ok, incase any1 was wondering…

I’m a big fan of the shock 3x Mochas. One of these days I want to get some beans.

I may give #2 and #3 a try but I have no interest in #1. I don’t respect companies that exploit the slang names of illicit drug’s to push their product.

A good product can push itself.
