The Top 15 Energy Drink Brands

top-selling-energy-drinks

Red Bull continues to dominate as the energy drink leader, but Monster has experienced huge growth in the last few years.

The energy drink market continues to grow even in light of the tough economy and increased health scrutiny.  Soda sales have been declining steadily over the same period, while energy drink sales have been booming.

5 Hour Energy certainly has the energy shot market cornered with none of the others anywhere in the same universe as 5 Hour.

A huge part of energy drink popularity is in the sponsorship efforts, with top brands spending large sums of money to achieve brand placement. Xyience has definitely been lifting their marketing efforts and it’s paying off with their recent entrance into the top 15 energy drinks ranking.

Does top selling mean that they are also the best energy drinks?

Burn is bigger in the UK, but didn’t rate in these figures.

This is for the US market.

  • turk

    what about burn?

  • Andréas Eriksson

the best energy brand is a new one, crowns premium energy drink from germany, fantastic taste, great ci

  • CaffieneJunky

I guess these reviews are by popularity vs what really works better. I’ve tried all energy stinks out there and none worked except for Nos. Its amazing how something as weak as redbull is number one!

  • dljaking

think fast & up tastes better than all these “bubblegummy” energy things like Redbull for ex.

  • teddy steven

    wow thats amazing

  • Nero

Recently i tried this ED called unupower taste very nice and way cheaper than big brands seems to be selling good in my area (NorthLondon)

  • Luke

Relentless Energy drinks are the best but mainly sold in UK. Amazing taste and many different flavours plus it’s 500ml cans so good value for money compared to Red Bull and a stronger effect. I hope they will expand so the rest of the world can see how good they are.

It doesn’t matter which one tastes better, it’s who has the best marketing… :-)

  • Jon

I can’t believe that Redbull is more popular than MONSTER when MONSTER has far many more flavors. Also, to be perfectly blunt, MONSTER is just better. Even Rockstar is better than Redbull.

  • sourabh bhatt

    cool and tasty

  • Matt Cohen

I still think Wave Energy Drink is the best! I have tried them all and Wave rocks! I only wish they had more flavors.

  • msw19

agree on the XS – best energy drink out there i think hands down

  • Yvette

I’m not surprised by the “Top Selling Energy Drink Brands” chart; What it took to “quit” drinking the stuff was RED BULL but the other stuff like AMP, Hype (which is sold in 7-Eleven stores which I’ve last seen them sold in Canada), and Rockstar were MY top fixes, back in the day.

  • arif

Tasted that wild cat. It was wicked!!!

  • Anis Rajani
