Full Throttle Mother Has Arrived
The can actually reads “Full Throttle: Nature is one BAD Mother”.
The drink claims that ingredients are from “Natural Sources” - presumably this means caffeine is from Guarana.
Full Throttle is made by Coca-Cola, and… just to confuse things - Coca-cola have been pushing another energy drink in Australia called Mother. Mother has not been popular in Australia. Maybe they need to try selling Full Throttle instead?

A little strange at first, but I found that I liked it and wanted to drink it again; too bad the store sold out of it and apparently didn’t re-order (see below). The acai berry extract tastes a bit like a shake made of chocolate plus raspberries, if you can imagine that, and it has the usual FT kick and additions.
This product appeared an disappeared on my grocery store shelves within a week, so it’s obviously still a test-market product. Now I suddenly can’t find it anywhere in Metro NY area. Anyone w/tips, let me know.
This one is quite bitter. It smells like it would taste much sweeter with a berry-sweet-tart candy scent. The aftertaste is a bit odd too. The Nestea Enviga Energy tea drinks are actually sweeter than this one!
Where’s the sugar-free version? We’re getting only sugar free regular flavored Full Throttle in our area. Very disappointing, I would buy more Full Throttle if all flavors came in a sugar free version. I don’t want so much sugar so I buy Nestea Enviga instead of Full Throttle.
I tried it because of the acai berry. Acai berry is supposed to be some sort of health kick. I enjoy the flavor. Yeah, it’s sour, leaves an after taste, but common, it’s an energy drink what do you expect. I enjoy this one as much as the other Full Throttle Products.
Interesting drink. It has its own unique flavor which is desirable in the energy drink market. It definitely got me buzzed up and it contains 40% juice, so you could do a lot worse than this.
I don’t understand Full Throttle (or should I just say Coke). I don’t care for their original but Fury and Blue Demon are awesome. I was so excited for this one…and I couldn’t even finish it. Like others have said, it’s bitter.
You guys are crazy, this stuff is sick. After my first drink i felt like I had just licked the bottom of my lawn mower. It’s like they put acorns and moss in a can and tried to sell it. I’ve talked to several other people here in Kentucky and they all said similar things about it’s overwhelming grass after taste.
If i had wanted to take a bite out of a tree i would have just walked into the forest.
Great drink, the effects are natural. Since it’s natural, I can drink more without the ills effects. My girlfriend digs it, if you get my drift.
Jut got these in the dorm room vendormachine, and I just wanted to yak. Wouldent drink this again, even for a Hunid’Racks

This taste like sh!t, in a can! I spent my last three dollars on one, and almost couldn’t finish it. It taste like apple juice on crack! I love the original, and will make sure to stay with it.
I am drinking Full Throttle acai berry right now, and i have to say this drink is one of the worst drink in history of energy drinks. The flavor doesnt go well with my taste buds at all. Every sip makes me very close to puking. so for acai berry 0/10
Hrm. Ironically, I found Bad Mother to be my new Favorite. I like the berry flavor, my other favorite is the Blue Demon. I found it to have a good flavor, and it doesn’t make me jumpy like RockStars and others.
Guys guys! I must be genetically wired (heh, wired) different to you lot, because I like the stuff. It took a little getting used to, but the odd taste has stuck with me. It should be noted I readily drink Chinotto which is also an acquired taste for most.
I do testify to the “grassiness” of the aftertaste: I once had this asian grass jelly drink, the aftertaste is a bit like that.
I find that Mother is much easier to drink waaaay in excess due to a) a weaker taste than V, Red Eye, Red Bull, Monster b) its functional effects are farking hot, especially when you drink this shiz in excess. 2 cans max per meal, not per day, for me

I hated it… it litterally made me throw up lol, idk it was just nasty for some reason. Blue Deamon is the best ever.
I’m drinking it as we speak. It does taste a slight bit sour, but I think thats just the nature of drinks with acai berry flavor. The color is a nice purpleish shade. Like a previous comment said, it does kind of taste like chocolate with rasberries, I don’t know how, but it does. It has a strange taste I cant put a finger on though.
Overall, I think it’s good but I prefer Blue Demon over Mother.
I think it’s one of those things where you have to have tried acai juice before so that you can recognize it and appreciate it, because the version they’ve got going in this can isn’t too close. The same way you can only appreciate a mediocre grapefruit if you’ve had a really good one and know how good they can be.
That said, I’m sipping on my first one of these right now and it’s not too bad. I don’t think it’s as bitter as everyone has said, and I don’t taste a single shrub. I am skeptical about the acai content since it’s more of a ginger ale color than the deep purple of the acai berry.
I won’t be getting another, I’ll stick to NOS. Delicious, delicious NOS.
I’m happy that this drink has 40% juice and no high fructose corn syrup or sucralose. Artificial sweeteners are if-y, and high fructose corn syrup is evil. The taste is pretty much the same as any other fruit flavored energy drink. I like mine on the “natural” side. Hope they keep making this one.
Hmm.. I picked up two of these today, along with two Blue Demons (FAVE), and I must say… These are very very different. If you don’t like bitter aftertaste, don’t get this drink. At first the flavor took me aback, but after a few swigs I got used to it, and now I’ve grown a tolerance, if not a liking, to this drink. Earthy, yes. Bittersweet, like raspberries in chocolate, like the other two said. I do enjoy this drink more than I have enjoyed others… Some drinks I’ve tried are WAYYYY worse than this. Trust me, guys. This is NOT the worst drink out there, yet it’s also DEFINITELY not the best. With that said, I rest my case and say this is worth a few more tries. Plus you have the health benefits, so it’s worth it! 7.5/10 for me.

I agree with that other kid, it tastes weird at first but then WOW its really good..the blue one is my favorite but this is the next best thing. I only bought it cause its the only good energy drink the 99 cent store has haha
I dont know what all you are talking about, i love this stuff, i was looking all over for a energy drink that dont have all that sugar and other crap you dont need, there are drinks that rae better for you , but at least mother does not have like 20 tabkespoons of sugar like other E-drinks out there. in fact i dont think mother has sugar at all, just something better for you that does screw with your bloodsugar. i do agree that the initial taste was different, but after a few more sips it was good.
this drink sucks so freakin much that they have to sell it in the dollar store for 2 a dollar

I just got this drink today, and I think it’s thee nastiest thing i’ve ever had! I took one sip of it and almost threw up. It tastes like a hotdog smells. It’s really sick. Don’t try it!
My husband and I like this one a lot. Now… We both usually drink all natural fruit juice sodas anyway, so the taste was not new or unpleasant to us at all. (We actually liked them *because* they were so different from other energy drinks). Too bad we’re in the minority in that opinion, but at least we were able to get a ton of them for a quarter each at the local dollar store.
i bought a case of 24 for 6 dollars thinking i was getting a deal. little did i know all it was, was dirt and grass in a can. terrible.
I like it, because it does not have corn syrup or atificial sweetners. I cannot have either. Also I can pronounce all of the ingredients.
I like things on the sour side so Mother is good for me. My friend likes things on the sweet side and did not like Mother.
I like the others am having a hard time finding Mother in stores. I hope they keep making it. I cannot find another engery drink I can have. I did try the Vitamin Water e-drinks and they gave me gut rot.

That drink was just…eww.. it was awful.
I was flying to Cali and I needed something to keep awake. That was so not what i expected.
It has a very weird flavor.
I gotta go with Bryson and Brandon this stuff tastes like shit just a warning dont waste your money go buy a monster or something just not this
I was grabbing a Full Throttle at 7-11, and I saw this green can. Next to the green can, was a buy a full throttle, get the green can free coupon. Taste is way too health-foody for me, but if it gives a good kick of energy, i’ll snag another.
