Caffeinated Jelly Beans

I’ve just added a new item to the caffeine amounts in food database: Jelly Belly Extreme Sports Beans.
Not sure how long these have been available for - but each little 1 ounce bag of jelly beans packs 50mg of caffeine (according to Jelly Belly).
Jelly Beans have long been used by endurance athletes as a source of sugar - and the “sports” formula has electrolytes in it is well.
Who would have thought that Jelly Beans could be so much fun?
You can buy them in 24-packs from Jelly Belly.

oh ahhaha eric, not saying you’re wrong, but there are a lot more harmful things out there that people use everyday.
“Jelly Beans have long been used by endurance athletes as a source of sugar”
…um seriously?
haha, 50 mg of caffeine is harmfull?
Dusty, yes. Jellybeans are especially popular for marathon runners. The sugar is great, very quick energy. They aren’t too hard on the stomach either, which many foods can be while running 26.2 miles.
if seen energy gum, chips, mints, drinks, shots, but this is a first,i cant wait man,i cant wait.
saw these in hi-health almost a month ago. didn’t know what they were, so didn’t pick any up. didn’t realize they were new or caffeinated.
Caffeine has also been linked to reduced chance of parkinson’s disease… kind of a crap shoot i guess…the jelly bellies would be awesome though.
wouldnt be to bad for getting the sick taste of coffee outa ur mouth”
i saw these at a walmart nearly a year ago, (or a jelly belly product that was extremely similar) and i can say that the flavor selection sucked and the caffiene was a waste of money, might as well get a snickers charged its cheaper and better anyways
wait nevermind, i tried it before they added the caffiene (or started showing it on the label)

there are caffeine links to miscarrages, and infertillity….it also leads to acid reflex and some cardio diseases. why would you want this??
